Service was good, but this place was filthy. The drink & salsa station needed to be wiped and cleaned; there were spills everywhere. There weren’t any napkins in the dispenser. Utensil dispenser was near empty. Behind the counter where they make the food needed to be tidied up too. Good customer service was a plus but cleanliness is everything
Things are starting to slip, and badly. I've been going to Barbaritos for years now, mainly because they have the best chicken of all of the quick serve burrito shops. But lately it has gotten dicey. The last few times I've gotten over cooked rock hard chips, either over cooked or old rice that resembled tiny pieces of gravel (at lunch time to boot), and they seem to be skimping on the size of the burritos despite raising the prices. There are some good people working at this location, but overall the food seems to be getting worse and worse. They charge premium prices, my chicken burrito costs over $10 and that's just straight with NO extra meat or cheese or guac etc. For that price you need to be delivering premium food guys, and you're not. I don't know how long I will keep going, I'm hoping things will improve, but either train people properly on how to do their jobs, or hire people who take a little pride in their work, because what's going on lately, and again I'm a LONG time customer, is just bad.
Queso is the best, really appreciate that they have a tofu option as well.
The absolute worst pile of old slop i have ever seen. I asked for some on the side. 5 plus ingredients were missing. They did not send any salsa with chips. The chips were too salty and old. The entire meal smelled like cheap bathroom deoderizer. It was thrown in the outdoor trash imediately. Never again! Awful!
I love Barberito's and the food is delicious but they have got mine and multiple others orders wrong consistently for awhile now. Luckily we are not picky eaters and can still eat what we get but not getting the extra items that you paid for and not getting what you ordered is a huge let down.
What a total let down. I used to visit often when I worked in the area. The place was a ghost town and the food and service shows why. Had the chicken nachos, was offered the various toppings and asked if I wanted shredded or melted cheese or some of both(wasn’t told that was an up charge). The chicken was mush and soaked the chips. The veggies were decently fresh.
Their food is consistently great and the employees are so friendly. Service is always quick and kids eat free night is a great deal.
My grand daughter and I were in town for the Reba concert and stopped here for a bite first. We both got the nachos. They were wonderful. If you get to Knoxville give them a try
I stopped in for Taco Tuesday lunch. I arrived right at noon, they were busy but efficient. The steak tacos were good, served with tortilla chips. I made the mistake of salting them and they were too salty to eat.
I ended up throwing most of my food away not very good. The place does have a funky smell inside. Employees were very nice though.
