Went this time for my niece's birthday but didn't tell the server since she didn't want anyone to know. The food was great as always and the server was very attentive bringing out drink refills without being asked. Had to ask for take home boxes since the portions are generous. When family members have visited in the past they've always asked to go to Aubrey's for our eat out meal and had a wonderful experience each time. Very consistent in food quality and service in over 10 years of visiting Aubrey's at either the Cedar Bluff or Oak Ridge location.
Half our food was awesome and half was cold. The rooster grill is usually a pretty reliable menu items. The tuna can either be super delicious or a little dry. Tonight it was a little on the dry side.It was a little hard to eat some of our meals because we waited for condiments and other special items that we requested when we ordered. Normally Aubrey's is a good choice but I can't say it is 100% of the time.
I got here before my friends because the other place we were going to go was closed. Fortunately Aubrey’s is good and it’s open every day.I got spinach con queso to share and a strawberry salad for dinner. The queso was good and had a small spicy kick at the end. The salad was huge. I liked the food but the strawberries really should have been sliced up more. Also it tasted strange in some places like a piece of lettuce had turned or gone bad but I was already in the midst of chewing so I ate it anyway since I was hungry. My friends said they liked their food too (we were here for my birthday). I don’t know if they do anything for birthdays here since we didn’t mention it to the server but I’m doubting it.It’s a convenient place not too far from my house to eat so we will be back.
We love Aubrey's. Whenever we're in Knoxville, we have to stop by. One of our favs is the Cranberry Salad with Chicken breast. There are also many other awesome options on the menu. The service is always great and the atmosphere is also very welcoming and comfortable. Prices are also very reasonable. Check them out!
Just got a to-go order, baked potato, salad & spinach dip & chips from Middlebrook pike at Cedar Bluff location. Went to dress my baked potato and there was a rotten spot in the center of the potato!Other than the “potato problem” everything else was great as always.
The food was absolutely delicious. The steak was large for the price. You can’t beat this place good food great price and decent service
We visited Friday 3-4-22 after moving away from Knoxville for a year. Despite calling ahead and seeing our name listed for a 7pm arrival, the host and female manager were rude and told us we would wait like everyone else. The manager unloaded about her busy day, short staff, and how tired she was. I'm not a monster, I do empathize, but none of those are my problems. Quality management simply suspends call ahead seating so guests can make better,,plans. From my interaction with the manager, I have a decent idea that the short staffing is likely due to leadership and culture. The attitude from the host and manager were so offensive that I wouldn't work there or return to eat a $50-60 dinner. Senior management needs to step in before Knoxville loses another great local brand.
Steak was flavorful. Potato chips was very good. The tip appetizer was tender and tasty. Patroller one of the best around.
First time reading at an Aubrey's, and I can say that I will not be returning to another Aubrey anytime soon. The food was over priced for the quality and taste of the food. Our waitress was unavailable, had the personality of someone who worked with the dead, and failed to go as above and beyond expectations as a dining customer.
Great food and great service in a nice atmosphere. We were a party of 5 and everyone enjoyed their food. From the small plate menu, I had the filet bites and it was awesome. I would definitely eat here and again, or recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.
