I should probably start with noting that I do not care for Indian food. I have tried and tried and it never really took. Until I came to Aroma. The name fits - it smells amazing as you walk in and everything I have tried was delish and flavorful! I especially love the Lamb Korma (reminds me of a Thai curry) and the Peshwari Naan (flat bread filled with sweet coconut and cashew spread). The Goat Pepper Fry is probably the best goat I have EVER tasted. My hubs enjoyed the grilled platter and topping it off with the 1947 Indian Lager was the perfect touch for a summer meal. I HIGHLY recommend this place and will return every chance I get!
I was driving by the city and picked up dinner.5* for the aroma and 3 * for the taste. The food looked good yet the taste was average.Kebabs were really good, but biryanis and curries tasted all the same(sweeter). I would categorize as an american indian restaurents.
I LOVE Aroma! They are the only Indian restaurant in the Knoxville area that offers samosa chaat. The dish was the perfect balance of flaky and soft. My husband ordered the kebabs and despite being born in the Indian subcontinent (and accustomed to spicy food) he was surprised at the heat (in a good way!). I highly recommend Aroma for authentic and fresh Indian cuisine served in a clean and welcoming environment. I’d also like to thank the staff for their gracious and sincere service. We will return! ❤️
Absolutely awesome place!!Great food - good Buffet.Would like to have a little more spicy at buffet- but 100% awesome!
1st time eating at Aroma, everything ordered was delicious, fresh, and made to order. Service was great and very helpful explaining the menu and food choices. I will definitely be back !!
Great tasting Indian food !! The flavors are amazing. We especially like the family combo meals to go because they are very convenient and tasty and you get a lot of food . They also have very kind and quick service!
6/10 overall. Servers were nice and welcoming4/10 on food.Served stale food. We went for dinner. The rice was leftover from the lunch buffet. The chicken korma was stale… they brought all the food within minutes; they prolly reheat those food from buffet. Liked the meat platter (except the stale smelling lamb or something).I assume the buffet would be nice. Dinner was no good.
We went for their Diwali feast and it was absolutely deeeelicious! We will definitely be back!
I enjoyed the delicious vegan food from their buffet!
