Store closed sign in window. Hours posted said it should be open. I started to leave but saw movement inside and decided to see. Enjoyed employees friendliness, out of ribs but it was late on 4th of July and I decided to go with BBQ pork sandwich plate with baked beans and jalapeno pimento sides. Sides tasted better than any other BBQ place I've been to. I think M&M catering has better flavor pork sandwich. I'll have to go back and try ribs. Overall I enjoyed the food and service. Price was good too.
The restaurant looked clean. The brisket had good flavor and texture. As well it appeared to have a smoke ring. The (4) stars; as far as the meat is concerned, you get an A. The Memphis sauce wasn't quite what I hoped it might be, but that's just my opinion. Customer service is where a little effort could be pushed. When I went to get my drink for my to go order, no ice. The young man said the ice machine hadn't worked for a bit; ok warm Coke. As I'm getting down the road enjoying my sandwich I came to inevitable of Bar-B-Que, I needed a napkin; and there were none. It certainly would have been handy for that young man to throw a couple in there for me, B-.Finally my last point; I've noticed more places are asking for gratuity with the ticket even before I've had a chance to fully assess the the food and service. I threw those fellas a couple of bucks, but never again. You want a tip from.me earn it. I've worked in food service, I'll typically tip at least 20%
I was a bit skeptical at first since they only have pork and chicken but it was really good. The pulled chicken in particular was very tender and almost melted in your mouth. A great selection of bbq sauces, all of which were great. The BBQ beans were great as well and service was quick and friendly. Definitely recommend!
One of our favorite take-out dinner places. We've been customers for several years. We picked up dinner last week and were again pleased with the service and food. (Btw, the greens are excellent!) It's so nice to be welcomed back when we come in. The staff goes the extra mile to get our order correct and ensure our food is just right!
Excellent food! Great ribs, shredded pork and chicken. Great sides, nice variety as well. The food even tasted good with no bbq sauce and no salt was needed to add flavor. Meat was tender also. All the different varieties of bbq sauce were Amazing! Would recommend. Employees were very nice and helpful also. Very laid back atmosphere. Great service, great food! Glad we chose Archers BBQ! You should too!
Great BBQ. Awesome staff. No wait at all. Excellent sides. Tasty sauces to pile on. You need to try this place out.
The bbq chicken was amazing. Their jalapeno sauce is really very good.
We had pulled pork and coleslawBoth are tasty. We had the original BBQ sauce. It is a little spicy. From previous visits, the brisket and the potato salad are fantastic too.
Everything on the menu is consistently very good. Get your pork plate with a side of jalapeño pimento cheese along with my favorite green beans anywhere...grandma would be proud.
First time in and won't be the last We got a few pounds of pulled pork to go and a sampler of sauces since they have a variety to choose from. The pork had get flavor and the family enjoyed it very much. We also tried about a quart of the pork beans and they were a hit too. Staff was friendly and helpful.
