Sides kinda sucked, mac n cheese was extremely uninspired, beans tasted like they came from a bush can. Nice variety of sauces, but none blew me away. Meats were cooked well and the tea was good at least. Nice atmosphere inside the restaurant, staff was very helpful, but wish they would raise the standards on everything outside of just the smoked meats as thats what makes the BBQ experience.
Only chicken and pork options for bbq . always out of ribs . in my opinion there are o the options if enjoy more locally . the variety of bbq sauce is nice . if really like the jalapeño one . my kids really like the KC and original one . and wife likes the super hit ghost pepper one . Chicken was good and the chicken salad was good as well . Thank you for dinner
My first time trying Archers BBQ and I have to say the potato salad was great but everything else was pretty bad. Pulled pork, mac&cheese, greens and greenbeans plus buns I can't and will not eat, file 13. Spent about $90 with doordash charges. I wanted something different and I guess I got it. First time last time
Have eaten here twice, and love it. Smoked brisket was incredible, and also the smoked pork had great flavor. There is a big variety of sauces, and good sides. Portions are good sized. Will definitely keep coming back here.
First time in and won't be the last We got a few pounds of pulled pork to go and a sampler of sauces since they have a variety to choose from. The pork had get flavor and the family enjoyed it very much. We also tried about a quart of the pork beans and they were a hit too. Staff was friendly and helpful.
It was just ok. Not sure what all the hype is about this place. It is over- rated and very expensive. I'll just stick with Buddy's.
Can't go wrong with archers. Best sides in any barbecue joint in Knoxville.
A solid BBQ joint! The smoked meat was on point! There was a variety of southern sides to pick from and…can we just sit back appreciate the sauce selection?! Nicely done.
If u like BBQ. Give these guys a try. Also try there smoke mac and cheese or loaded potato salad
My wife and I stopped in on our way back to KY. The food was outstanding. We are both kind of barbecue snobs and really hate the generic barbecue and sauces; but this was excellent. I had pulled pork, collards and stewed green beans. I could have eaten just the collards and green beans and been completely satisfied. I chose Carolina mustard for my sauce on my pulled pork and it was a great decision. My wife had ribs, baked beans and potato salad. Of course, I had to try her potato salad which was excellent. We will definitely come here again during our travels. The two people there were extremely friendly.
