Anaba is a great spot for Japanese cuisine. We got there close to 6pm and were seated immediately. The waitress was kind and helpful with the menu as it was my first time there. I was able to enjoy a half price Orange Trio Bowl because of the Tuesday 1/2 off deal. Will try sushi next time! I recommend going!
The food here is always superb. I really appreciate the consistent quality of both the food and the service. It's one of my favorite places to eat and to bring people when they visit.
It was my first time to visit this place. The food are amazing! I really recommended this place. We got “Agedashi” deep fried tofu with a dashi soup. I love it.We got the Shrimp Tempuras. This also perfect taste and crispy. Love it!We got katsu curry chicken. The chicken are a bit burn and hard to eat, but the curry is good, but i don’t think we like it.Last two dishes are my favorite.You guys should try the Smoky Mountain. I love it. This dish is very delicious with salmon, tuna, shrimp, smelt roe, and tempura flakes. ?And the Happy Tummy, the crispy shrimps are tasty. It is a bit sweet because of the sauce, but i am ok with that. ?

Food is 5 star, service was not.The service had nothing to do with being short staffed. The staff was extremely pleasant to everyone sitting down to eat. You could tell they were busy, but everyone sitting down was pretty happy. I had plenty of time to look. There were several people waiting for To-gos along with myself that watched the staff walk past repeatedly, and no one even tried to acknowledge us. Multiple staff looked me in the eye and walked away like it was not their job to help or even greet us. I had to politely stop 2 different people in their tracks to A) be acknowledged, and B) get my food. Waited for about 40 minutes(and this was after placing my order 45min prior online). I understand you saying places are short staffed right now. But speaking to the people that walk in your door would go a long way. I and the 4 or 5 people that waited alongside me for their to go orders did not get that courtesy.
The best food I've had in awhile! And I don't say that lightly. I tasted everything everyone ordered and each one was delicious.Also, I left my purse there by accident. My husband went back to get it hours later. The same waitress recognized my husband even though he had changed his clothes. I checked my wallet after he got home with it and everything was there. I doubt anyone even opened it. It's good to know not only is the food delicious, but they have honest people working there too. I can't wait to go back!
So we got there for my wife’s simple laid back birthday lunch. Seated fairly quickly, and that was the best part of the meal. They did ok getting our drinks and salads, my tempura avacado was mostly dark gray instead of green. My sushi was also bland. My wife just wanted some hibachi chicken. After waiting for almost thirty minutes, we told them to take her meal off the ticket and she left at that point to sit in the car. Good thing since she was about to go off on them. I let them know how disappointed we were and all that was offered was a minor apology from the waitress. One and done here.
This place has gone through a few changes over the years. It used to be a Greek restaurant, and then changed hands and became Japanese/Greek fusion. It now is solely Japanese fare, but nonetheless the quality continues to be top-tier.Really great, affordable lunch specials, and amazing entrees for dinner. The location is cozy and not crowded, and the service is quick. I would highly recommend this place.
We like it. I've experienced better but had to pay more for it. It's worth going for the price.
Food-excellent. The waiter made recommendations, and they rocked. It could not have been better or fresher. Portions are at the high end for what is charged—which is perfect.Service-Transparent! The hostess greeted us with a, “Hey we’re not overworking our servers, so it will be a 10-15 minute wait.” Sure enough, like clockwork, we were seated. With this management style, the servers were able to tend to the tables so well. It was phenomenal.This was perhaps the best service I’ve received anywhere in the last 5 years.Our two year old chowed down as well.Thank you for pushing through hard times and keeping the doors open, the food great and the service as palatable as the meal!
