Great food I kinda was surprised because I've never been a Mexican eater but since I got married in April I've been doing taco Tuesday since my husband loves Mexican and our spot has been at West Town Mall. I've seen this place for years it's near my home and never been in well I said ok I'll try it and guess what I loved it reasonable prices like a really big plate for $14 good taco specials and food was actually pretty delicious I will be back heck today is Monday I'll probably go back tomorrow lol
The food was good but our service wasn't good at all.
Food was great but the service was terrible. We had to ask for napkins and silverware, the food came out at different times, and we repeatedly had to wave to her for attention. I won't be returning unless it's for carry out.
Good but basic. We enjoyed the fun environment that Amigos presents. Driven by previously and noticed the patio thinking we'd have to try it. The night we went the patio was full but we still had a nice time. Servers were friendly.
We went in and the table was sticky. No problem. We order two lime margaritas but they came out with orange juice. No problem. We ordered cheese dip and ordered our food. Got the cheese dip. Asked for chips to go with the cheese dip and was told okay. We waited and waited and waited. 45 minutes went by and we hadn’t received our chips or our food. Our cheese dip was solid and cold from sitting for so long. We tried to get our waitress attention and she literally looked us in the eye twice and walked away. So we decided to go to the host stand to just tell them we were leaving and there response was the waitress was new. which is fine. But when we went up to the host stand we watched our server bring the ticket to the other woman who brought the ticket to the kitchen which told us that our order hadn’t even been put in to the kitchen when we confronted them about waiting for so long. The man with long hair wasn’t the most pleasant man to talk to and honestly lacked customer service skills. If they would have just took accountability for what happened we wouldn’t have cared. But he got mad becuase we said we didn’t want to wait anymore when we literally saw her put the order in at the end of this experience. I hope it’s better for other people.
Some night are a4 and some are a 5. Definitely need some maintenance in the patio , clean up, pressure wash, and such. But all in all a great place! Been coming here for 5 years now.
This Mexican restaurant is always crowded, and we only go to take my 97 year old husband's mother, because she likes sitting outside. We went yesterday. My mother in law ordered a plain lumch chimichunga, because she needs to be able easily pick it up & eat like a sandwhich, because her eye sight is so poor. This chimichunga came out TINY! only 4" by 3" ! I ordered a taco salad, which is usually a safe bet: this was a soupy mess in a bowl: the bottom filled with refried beans, then a little meat & cheese on top, with just a handful of lettuce. And, the ground beef was extremely over cooked (crunchy) and not much flavor. As I said: average, at best. Poor is a better descriptor. The last time we came, a year ago, my chili relleno was small and FLAT - I cut open the chili and there was a tiny piece of cheese, smaller than my pinkie finger. Just around the corner, across from the Target Mall/ JoAnns, is a MUCH better Mexican restaurant; same prices but servings twice the size.
I don't like negative reviews but this was not a good experience. It started after the waitress seated us. 30 minutes later she said she forgot we were there. 40 minutes later she brought our food. It was cold and my grand daughters was made wrong.
Very nice people and great food. Love the relaxing atmosphere with Spanish music playing. Definitely recommend ?
This is my husband and i’s all time favorite mexican restaurant! We live really close by so we come at least once a week if not more. Great service, the kindest people, and delicious fajitas and margaritas! We will continue to come here and bring our friends as long as we are around. Thank you amigos!☺️
