Normally I would say 5 stars all the way. However I'm cutting it back ONLY because I have a severe shrimp allergy. The chef this time did not take that into consideration when fixing our food and shrimp was mixed all over everything. I was unable to eat my food due to not wanting to risk an allergic reaction. Otherwise food has always been good ?.
Went for my son's birthday for sushi. They went out of the way to make it special. Wonderful people, food and restaurant. Recommend it!
Excellent food very entertaining chef great service
I took my girlfriend here for our 1 month anniversary date since she had never seen hibachi before, and she loved it. The service and food portions were adequate, staff was friendly enough.The showmanship of the chef was average. I would give a 3 star review since it definitely wasnt bad, but could have been better, but since my girlfriend loved it as her first hibachi experience, it was worth an extra star.
Best sushi I've had in quite awhile. Dining partner's udon and hibachi were pretty dang tasty, too. (Appreciate the last hours, too!)
Waited at the hostess station for nearly 30 minutes, never greeted. Never told a wait time or asked to wait. Only two waiting, it wasn't that busy. Saw multiple employees walk by, even walking up to the counter where we were standing to grab something. They could at least have acknowledged our presence. I've worked restaurant all my life, and even if they were busy, they should have greeted us, told us they were on a wait, how long the wait would be, etc. Nothing.... so after 30 minutes we walked out and went to Moto instead. Disappointed in Wasabi....
Went here for my brother's birthday. Food was fabulous! We all ate a special sushi roll, it was amazing. Best sushi I have had in the tri cities.
Place is very outdated and not inviting. Entrance is full of clutter, sushi bar is a unclean, storage area filled with more clutter. The sushi was below average and I should have walked out. Maybe this place is the go to for Hibachi. I didn’t receive any service I was brought my drink, I was brought my food and that was it. I had to go to the front to pay, she never brought my check to me or asked if I wanted anything, a re-fill nothing. Not a good experience while visiting Kingsport.
