This location has been tanking over the last 6 months. Steadily the quality of the food has declined and the wait times have gotten way too long. Today we visited and decided to try the stall because the drive through was a known problem. No one answered the button after 10 minutes! Having hungry kids we decided to just get in the drive through line. There was a car in front of us but oddly the driver wasn't saying anything. After 5 minutes she sped off around without ordering and parked in a stall. I got to the box and waited probably another 3 minutes until someone came on to take the order. Another 10 minutes in the car line (we were the only ones there and maybe 5 stalls were occupied) and our food finally comes out. What a disappointment. My BBQ popcorn chicken only had the BBQ coating on about half the pieces, the tots were barely still warm, and my cherry lime aid tasted like straight up soda water. Out of my family of 4 slushes only 1 tasted anything remotely like it should have. Do yourself a favor and if you want Sonic go to the Johnson City location. I guarantee you will drive the extra 20 minutes out of your way and have your food before this one can mess up your order.
Gotta have the Red Bull slush, a reason to go to Sonic for real. I got mine with coconut, I think next time I'll try coconut & vanilla. Also, if you do you gotta get the app so your slush is half price.Also I thought I would try a pretzel and it was actually pretty AMAZING as well. Super fresh and soft and buttery and salty and cheesy - all the feels.I've not really been someone who goes to Sonic a lot except in the past and from time to time I'll crave a Cherry Limeade. After getting the Red Bull slush today I'll DEFINITELY be going back more. And it's super easy to order ahead on the app and just pull in , wait for them to bring you your order (and by 'wait' mean like just a few mins).The only thing about the app I don't like is you never see the prices until you go to checkout. Which is fine if you're getting things you know the price of already. Not a huge deal but just a little annoying. It's not like anything at Sonic is expensive LOL. Well the drinks can be when you pile up the add ons, which is why half price is so nice ?Overall I was very happy and the Red Bull slush AND the simple little pretzel twist get ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me tonight.
Only stopped at the drive thru for a quick stop. Sadly it was not quick. Had to wait about 20 minutes for two drinks , a pretzel and some fries. Although it was a long wait , the food and drinks were great and very fresh. The young man that brought out our food was apologetic. He was the only person we saw waiting on customers. The place was run over. Which indicates it has good food and service. And it did. So expect a wait and expect good food and service.
This is unacceptable to even think about sending this out. Thanks for ruining dinner sonic.
On a road trip and needed something quick. I wasn't in the mood for a hot dog so I decided to try the burger. It was good. I wish they would put the menu on both sides of the stalls.
I come here every day for lunch, good food, great employees, and fast service.
Truly love Sonic for a quick stop. The food is not fancy but it is classic drive-in restaurant/diner food. Burgers, fries, tater tots, hotdogs, corn dogs, breakfast burritos and sandwiches are available all day. Milkshakes are tasty and thick. There are soft-serve deserts and an almost uncountable variety of frozen slushy drinks. Soft drinks and ice cream floats are also available. Service is fast and friendly. My favorite is the corn dogs.
I come to this sonic quite often however lately it has been lacking. Buns are usually hard and fries are cold. I ordered ahead on the app and chose my food to be ready at 12:15 since I was about 10 minutes away I got there and was told my food had been sitting back awhile and would have to wait if i wanted hot fries. I specifically ordered to have my food made at a certain time so it would be hot and fresh. If you cannot make it at a certain time then their should not be an option to do that. The car hop proceeds to tell me that they will remake it just this one time for me but thats it and the order came back a long time ago.No ones fault but the app I guess from now on will probably just order when I get there.
It was great food, a little greasy. The milkshakes where delicious and the blast where even better, I tried my sister's. Would recommend.
Very good service, fast and a great price for what I had to have fixed. Was able to have my phone back in hours and at a great price. Will use them again but to be honest I hope I don’t need to
