The guy working was very nice and polite. This was our first time and they explained all the different food. The food was delicious and the pricing was very good. Because it was our first time they gave us a free fry for the next visit. The guy took out order and brought it to us. He cleaned up. He was very busy. This might be my new favorite place. They had a dip I really like. The Jalapeno cheese burger was very yummy.
The meat for the hamburger steak and cheeseburger tasted like it came from a bulk box of low quality meat. It was disappointing. We used to LOVE getting burgers there. Plus, charging a few to use a bank card on a $40 order is not cool. I understand a charge for orders $5 and under.
Gentleman at the counter was super cool. Got a BLT and a chocolate milkshake. Milkshake was out of this world. Wish I wasn't from out of state. If I come back to this area in returning for the milkshake. Need to get one if you come here.
There is a rule I have. If there is a place with a lot of pickup trucks in the parking lot at noon, go there.Located just up the road from Eastman Chemical plant, it's your basic quick burger/ dog/ salad, etc joint. Small room with 11 tables and 6 stools at a counter.Daughter and I both went with the Sloopy (made to order) cheeseburger (8 oz. vs. the regular 5 oz.) and it was truly outstanding.Saw someone with a chili dog with more ground beef in the chili that liquid. I nearly changed my order on that sight alone.Onion rings were darn near perfect.Want fish tacos? They have them.Burritos and quesadillas. Yes.They also have a 2 lb burger challenge. 8 oz. Burger was plenty.
The best burgers I've ever had. Every time I come back home from college, this is the first place I want to go to because of how good this place is. Nothing can top Sloopy's! The burgers, fries, and their tea are 5 Stars. Highly recommend to anyone who hasn't tried this place.
Hands down, the BEST burger I've ever had (except for my husband's)! REAL MEAT...hand-formed, generous portion, quality meat. Perfectly cooked. Fresh and tasty fixings.They are also HUGE. If you really love a good burger, you have to try Sloopy's!
Food was average, place was mostly clean. Not bad, to be honest. Owner was loud, but was trying to be welcoming I believe.
Great local burgers and shakes spot. The peanut butter shake is definitely the best in town. There's a good amount of choices on the menu, the jalapeno cheddar burger is very good. Service was patient and helpful. Definitely recommend.
Our group of about 15 came in because we'd seen reviews about this restaurant. We were in town for a volleyball tournament at the convention center. The menu online looked great and we realized that we could all fit in here. And what a great experience with the friendly staff, the great service, and refreshness and quality of the food! GREAT JOB!
Sloopys has excellent food and great service.. The restaurant is always clean and I love the hot fudge cake about the only place left that has it... Food is always hot and correctly made. Good amount of fresh made food for the money about $10 for cheeseburger fries (with cheese dip) and a drink about the same price as our local fast food chains. LOVE THIS PLACE MY FAVORITE BURGER AND FRIES IN TOWN
