I went to purple cow on July 1st and I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and a meatball sandwich and fries I paid over $7 for my meatball sandwich and they forgot to give it to me. This place has raised their prices and their food quality has gone down the bacon cheeseburgerPatty was small more bun then Patty the fries were cold so I would go back. I would not recommend this place I've been here several times and each time it seemed the quality of their food has gone down. I would give less rhen one star if I could.
Stopped by for lunch last week. I ordered the Cuban sandwich. When I pulled it out of the bag, I was a little scared because it was so messy, but after the first bite, my fears were laid to rest! It was delicious!!! Even though it wasn't exactly traditional, it had the same flavor & I would definitely order it again!!
Got a wild hair and drive all the way from Gray just too have a purple cow burger! They did not disappoint. It was worth every mile in had to drive. I loved the jalapeno poppers! Service was A+ with beautiful smiles. If I could change one thing at would be better access to parking to enjoy their goodies.
I used to go to this place at least once a week for years and years, and it was great food at a great price. Not anymore! The food has give way downhill and the prices are way out of proportion. An average size double cheeseburger is $8? Come on. And the meat had a very weird texture. Not sure what's going on with their hamburger. So if you want to overpay for below average food and wait in line for about 20+ minutes, head on over.
Food is unique and the variety is plentiful. Location and layout of lot leaves much to be desired. Be prepared to wait in line as it's all cook to order and pretty popular.
Best burgers in Kingsport. Fries can sometimes be a little over seasoned so make sure to ask for no/light seasoning if you prefer and check to make sure the kid actually did it some times they don't.
We spent a ton of money only to not get all of our food, incorrect items, cold fries, and just in general not caring about public relations. A long time ago this was an amazing place to eat. I'm not sure what has happened but I'll never be back.
Customer service at its worst! A giant sub was left out of our order and not discovered until we got home, which is 20 mins away. We came back to get the sub and asked for a replacement box of cbr fries since ours was now cold. We were told that without a box they would not replace them. Had I thought this would be an issue I would have absolutely brought them with me but I didn’t see a potential problem with them replacing a box of fries that I paid $10 for when in reality it probably cost them less than a few dollars to make. I will absolutely never, ever return. This place used to be the best and it sure is disheartening to see such poor customer service.

I haven't eaten there in over 10 years. I used to enjoy their food very much, especially their salads, shakes and fried green tomatoes. I decided to give them a try today, and ordered their Hawaiian sub. It's supposed to have chicken, swiss cheese, pineapple, grilled bell peppers & onions with a honey glaze. When I got home and opened it, it had some kind of mystery chopped white meat(had the consistency of hard scrambled eggs), fried ham, a little bit of grilled peppers and onions, swiss cheese, and some kind of sauce. No pineapple, at all. After one bite, I was so disappointed that I fed it to my dog(minus the peppers and onions). I tried to call the store several times, but it went to an unset voicemail recording. I doubt I will be going there ever again.
