We enjoyed a scenic 20 min drive to the restaurant. We both ordered the special (chicken casserole) with two sides and cornbread. The waitress was really nice and we enjoyed talking to her and learning about the area. The okra was really good and crunchy with a great temperature (obviously just was fried). Husband had the corn nuggets and fried apples. He said everything was good! Love the local flavor, and the many choices of sides on the menu. We would definitely come back next time we are in the area.

Great tasting cheeseburger. The bun was toasted just right and and all the fixings were fresh. The burger was cooked just right and the cheese melted onto the bun and burger beautifully. We ordered fries and they were served hot and delicious. Highly recommended Pop's.
Wonderful country cooking! About the only restaurant left of its kind around here. If you go right at mealtime, it will be crowded. So if you can go a little later than normal meal time you can usually sit right down. They close early on Sat and are closed on Sun. But it is really good ya'll !!!!
Service is always good, somehow they have retained their wait-staff, even though their menu is somewhat limited, I have always been happy with the food!

This place is really good, get alot of portion and with the chicken livers, which we seen from other people's plates it was a heaping well worth it and my son talks bout it to and he said they r really good, chicken tenders was great, which my husband fish was way over cooked tho, but will come back.
This was our second Friday visit in a row here due to some very poor service at another small restaurant we'd usually go to for Friday Fish Fry. Unlike the other place, the service here was great and the fish was better as well. This will be our Friday go to spot from now on.
