Fast food done right. Food is always fresh and hot. And no matter how long the line, you are always guaranteed to get out... quickly. When Pal's says "sudden service," they aren't lying. I don't think I have ever gotten an order wrong from this location or any other. If you're visiting East Tennessee or Southwest Virginia, do yourself a favor and have a meal at Pal's. They are an iconic part of the local culinary tradition.

I moved to South Carolina in March of 2021 and hadnt had Pals since. Even though the closest one is 2 hours away in Erwin, I didnt make it back until last month. This location was one that my grandfather and I visited when I was younger and loved eating outside. My kids were so excited to go back and have Pals again too. I had to go with the sauceburger(2) a large frenchie fry and a Large Dr. ENUF. If only Pals was in South Carolina..its the only reason for me to visit Tennessee again.

Weren't terribly busy. Ordered 3 hot dogs, 2 cilii buns, large fry and small fry. All were on receipt, but they shorted us a hot dog, which did not bode well when I got home. Should have checked before I left. Wasn't going all the way back for that. Really no excuse for that. Like I said, not very busy.loke to know how to get credited for that? Sunday, 5/1/22.

Great service and fun attitude here. The burger is really good. ?????

We are implants, so I'm very surprised that Pals never became a national chain. The food, for the most part, is very good; and the "sudden service" is not just a slogan. One warning though.. the fries are like edible crack. I found myself searching the empty bag for any that fell out when I was done. If you see me licking the container, try them yourself before you judge me.

Excellent burgers for a very reasonable price. The fries and chocolate shake were also outstanding! It was our first time at Pal's and we brought our grandson as well. We will be back for sure!!

Been there couple times last few weeks. Have ate at other locations but not very good. At this location clean, nice, food great, and really good peanut milkshakes

I am going to preface this review with the fact that I worked at Pals for 7 years. The past 2 times I have eaten here I was given fries after they were dead. I noticed that they did not have any fries dropped when I was waiting for my food and saw the timer counting down knowing that I was going to get dead fries or wait another 5 minutes if I complained. This was just before 8PM on 1/26.There have also been issues with the quality of other items such as burgers being too greasy and hotdogs not getting enough chili coverage. The food is always fine, but I don't go to Pals for fine.

Drove 30 mins ( from Johnson City ) to this pals as we've been wanting to come for a long time.. With 2 hungry, cranky toddlers. We get our food, in the car & headed back home only to find no straws for our drinks, drinks got labeled wrong & fries did not have any seasoning at all.. The seasoning is what makes the fries. Didnt think to check the bag since kids where cranky crying and we was all hungry. The food was hot fresh & the building itself is still really neat, I never knew a walk in pals existed and when I found out I wanted to come! We plan coming on a warmer day with the kids to sit outside & eat.

The employees are nice and the food is good. It's not a drive thru, the food is cooked fast, and there are tables to eat at outside where you can see a beautiful painting about Pal's.
