Meadows Restaurant took my reservations for Mother’s Day Brunch at 12:30 today. This was several weeks ago & I was told the hours were 11:00 until 2:00. The menu wasn’t ready at the time. I didn’t hear from anyone & when I called I got a recording. The main # said there was a brunch scheduled but the restaurant didn’t answer them either. My family has celebrated many holidays at Meadow View & it is not good business to leave people hanging. We did find a great restaurant for the six of us, & enjoyed Mother’s Day.
Short staffed because of an event, but our host was gracious. The steak was bland and slightly over-cooked. The maple bourbon salmon was also bland. No salads to start. No bread. Nothing. Kinda surprised to be honest. Doubtful we'd come back.
We just ate, on Mother’s Day. We have eaten the Sunday brunch several times before and really enjoyed. Today was bad. First off, $44 per person! There was no omelet station, no waffle station and no carving station. One vegetable (green beans), no potatoes. Two fish dishes, pre cut roast and sliced pork. The salad station barely had any greens with little items to add. 3 desserts. Service was ok but saw waitress carrying 5 glasses of beverages to a table with in tucked between her arm and breast. Unbelievable. Will not got back again
Our first return to eat here after 2 years (we’re local) as this was always a favorite for Sunday and holiday buffets. We were so disappointed! Food was limited: several meats but no chicken, only green beans fir the vegetables ( mac n cheese is not a veg), scant salad bar, no fresh carving station nor omelette station as in the past. And price had increased from about $28 to $44. Not worth even half that. Food was decent but overpriced. Friendliness of hostess and server was greatly lacking. We felt like we had put them out (had a reservation) and couldn’t believe the charge for such a minimal buffet. You may get travelers who are captive to the hotel but not locals. We weren’t the only ones turned off by the price as I saw someone decline to eat for that price. Not worth returning so I don’t recommend anyone to eat there.
Service was a little slow as there were very few customers. Food was good.
I wasn't here at all, I was at the location for the Meadow view Gun Show sorry I will leave a decent rating though unfair to the Restraunt if I leave 2 stars or something Now if I eat there and I don't like the food that's a different story.

One of the best restaurants in Kingsport. It’s menu has been scaled back due to COVID, but it is still serving delicious meals for a variety of tastes. The service is friendly and quality high. The shrimp and grits, short ribs, salmon, and garlic romano wings are my favorite dishes. I haven’t had anything I didn’t like though. Check it out to get a fabulous meal without the long waits.
