Great food, nice service and pleasant atmosphere. The menu is a bit limited on Sundays, but we all found something to enjoy. Overall. I thought it was a great spot and would return. As an aside, I wish people would stop complaining about prices in these reviews. Restaurant margins are slim, and it should be understood that this is just the cost of running a small business these days.
First time eating here all I have to say is delicious ?. Good friendly environment, didn’t have a long wait to get our food! It was sooo delicious I wished I lived closer to Kingsport I’d probably eat here all the time! O and everything is homemade!!!

Best bacon I’ve ever had — it’s definitely farm-to-table. Best burgers in Kingsport. The waffles are to-die-for. Amazing service and relaxing atmosphere. You definitely get portions that are in alignment with the prices. Kingsport isn’t ready for this place.
I did not feel that what was being offered was worth the price of the meals.We had been greatly anticipating eating here.However, after being presented with the menu of the day & speaking to the waitress we left and we were not the only ones that walked out.I will attach a picture of the menu.I am not picky but was a little disappointed about what was offered today… but I was going to make it work.. I asked if I could get just regular french toast and could I add a sausage link ( I saw that a different entree had a sausage link with it) the waitress acted as though this was a huge deal and stated no she couldn’t because she wouldn’t have enough for the entrees that actually were supposed to come with sausage links. I was very confused by this. I also did not see a kid’s menu however they may have one. We left and went to Cracker Barrel where we could choose anything and everything for half the price. I hope this restaurant does work for Kingsport they need new food options, but it will not be for everyone all the time.
Food here was super good, thats for sure. Nice and laid back environment with breakfast served all day.They look like most places are suffering from a lack of help. We watched another couple wait 20 minutes to place just the order for their drinks and another group leave without getting any service. This isn't their fault and we don't fault them for this either. We went and enjoyed our visit.
Evelyns is a slice of home for me, the big city. The food is the kind you'd have in a busy, metropolitan popular city with lines down the block. The service is top tier and the atmosphere is cozy yet sophisticated.I will be going back, many, many times and I encourage everyone to please give them a try. Unlike anything here in Kingsport.

Had the best fried chicken of my life thus far today at Evelyn’s! We also got the southwest grits bowl. It’s a sweet little restaurant with excellent service and nice decor. Highly recommend!
