I decided to visit this restaurant after reading so many positive reviews and seeing recommendations on Facebook. First and foremost, the server was pleasant and efficient. He arrived promptly at the table, and I quickly received chips and salsa. My order was likewise delivered on time, and he followed up with me. The chicken fajita burrito, on the other hand, was NASTY! I'm not sure what kind of meat was in it, but it didn't taste like chicken and had a strange texture, plus the coloring was greyish. It was also very salty. I attempted to give it a shot, but it was disgusting!Everyone who thinks this place compares to Southwest Mexican food is mistaken! It's terrible and pales in comparison to the amazing Mexican cuisine I have had. It was a complete waste of money!
I ate a torta and my girl friend had tacos, I'm sure the tortillas where home made, that's a plus. The red salsa was extra spicy, but good. The hostess and waiter where attentive, definitely recommended?
I had the marinated pork Huarache, hub had asada tacos. The meat was flavorful, he said the tortillas were excellent. The salsa isn't good at all, you need to ask for the hotter one. The salsa verde was also not very good. Not the worst, not the best. Better than chain food. Service was excellent.
Talk about a hidden gem!! Omg this place is amazing and as authentic as I have ever had! Great service and the prices are fair. Love the Mexican style tacos!
I gave 1 star only because I has to in order to leave a comment. The only experience I have had with this restaurant is I was at Little Ceasars tonight with my kids getting pizza, n I the youngest child I had with was about to pee on himself n I asked them if just he could please use their bathroom, he asked me if I had a order placed n I said no we were getting pizza n he can't hold it much longer well they refused to let a Child use the Bathroom... I'm outraged I will never do business there!! I'm so offended by not letting a Child use the bathroom I'm a emergency!!!
The best Mexican restaurant in Kingsport. Prices are amazing, the workers are awesome, and the food is out of this world. The best dish is the chimichanga and their Mexican style tacos. I've been a fan since they served food out of a food truck and will be going there forever.

Today was my first experience at El Loco Taco. I got the fajitas and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. The taste was amazing, the service was excellent, and the portion sizes far exceeded my expectations. Now I'm a both a customer and a fan!
If you're tired of the typical Mexican restaurant and the completely interchangeable dinner plates, may I suggest El Loco Taco?Their Mexican style tacos are beyond amazing. I don't think I have missed a "Taco Tuesday" without a few of them in months.
I had not tried this place till this evening. The food was amazingly good. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. I am shocked this place hasn't put all the other Mexican places in Kingsport out of business. This is now the only spot I will be eating Latino/mexican foods. I only wish I could cook this well. Don't put off trying it like I did, just go.
