Have always enjoyed this place except for the most recent visit. First off I ordered a bud light. Once the beer got there, took a sip it was warm and flat. After telling the server Anthony he said he would replace it took the full glass away and never returned with another one. The chicken fajitas had cold hard veggies and the Cajun chicken pasta noodles was so over done the bowl looked like mashed potatoes. Received the check and I was still charged for a beer that I never received after waiting 20-30 minutes waiting for Anthony to return to ask him about it. He never returned but looked over at us several times over that time. Every time I tried to get his full attention he turned around or started talking to other workers. Would've loved to speak to the manager but was told by the hostess they wasn't there tonight.
Worst service I've had in a long time. For me, it's not about how long I wait. It's about who is waiting on me. The bartender wasn't over friendly. I visit a lot of Chili's. This is the worst service I've ever had. I ordered an appetizer that had little burgers. They were hard, dry little black hockey pucks. I politely showed the bartender. She clearly didn't want to deal with it. I told her I was fine with new ones. It took 20 minutes but I was done with my food by then. When she came back with them I asked for a to go box. She was simply rude all the way around. I'd NEVER go back and I caution those who do go. She's got long black hair. She's an unhappy young lady.
Excellent place for a date night, a group of friends or a family. Always excellent food and drinks and you can sign up for specials and a birthday dessert for your birthday. Food quality at this location has always been excellent. This is one of our favorite places to visit in Kingsport. Wait staff is very attentive. Highly recommend this location!
First time going out to eat in a quite a while and was extremely disappointed tonight. Was quickly seated which was great but about 10 minutes goes by before anyone acknowledges that we are there. Our complete order was taken appetizer drinks main course. The table that came in well after us already had their drinks brought to their table before ours was taken. Not long after our order was taken the complementary chips and salsa was brought to our table with no silverware or napkins. About five minutes goes by and then our drinks were brought and they were great. Several more minutes go by and our main course is brought out. I was surprised and said wow we haven’t even gotten our appetizer yet. Without having a chance to further respond they took our main course back to the back and brought our our appetizer. At this point we still have not received silverware or napkins. We try to eat our appetizer which was spinach dip and ended up in a mess and I had to go find someone to get us napkins. After explaining to her that we didn’t have Annie and me holding a puddle of spinach dip in my hand she still did not give me napkins right away. I had to pull a paper towel from her stand that she uses to clean tables with and clean up myself and go back to my table. There we waited and she never came with a napkins. I flag down another person and asked for napkins and he immediately went and found some and brought to us. The main course is brought back out. The steaks were good but the mashed potatoes were very cold. Very disappointing to say the least and this first trip in a very long time.
We love Chili's never have a problem. We took out my mother in law and father in law for dinner. And the service was great our waitress was awesome. The prices are good for quality of food. We had a great time, enjoyed ourselves. Will contto go to Chili's.
Funny enough, Monday evening I had wrote a long review about the horrible experiences I’ve had at this location for the past several months but decided to give them one more try tonight. Never again. Detailing all the issues with the quality of service, quality of food and just putting together a correct order is beyond a waste of my time. They are clearly under new management or something drastic has happened for them to go from 5 stars to 0 stars within a matter of months. I’ve been a loyal chilis customer for years and have always received great service and quality food, but after tonight’s curbside order I will never eat from this location again. Lesson learned.
I never got my order taken. The employee didn’t sound to enthusiastic about taking my order in the first place. Monotone and unhelpful. I just wanted a crispy chicken salad. Not a Santa Fe Salad. “That’s the salad, Ma’am “. Flat. Matter of fact. I told her to forget it and called Cheddar’s a few doors down. Told him Inwanted a crispy chicken salad. Boom. One minute and this man had my order going. I worked hard today, too. Manual labor hard. I just want a salad and bed.
Order was ready quickly. I ordered a salad, Buffalo Wings and chips and salsa. All the food was well made. They were very generous with the chips!
Ordered for curbside pickup this evening, and the black girl who brought out my food was incredibly rude. She didn’t greet or address me at all, just shoved my food through the window. Also I do not appreciate the fact that she was in my face without a mask on, in fact none of the servers I saw going in and out of the restaurant had on a mask. Unacceptable in light of what’s going on right now. Also my food was ICE cold when I got it home, not even lukewarm. I realize that’s a possibility with to go orders, but I don’t think it had ever been hot to begin with. This Chilis has consistently gone downhill since before the pandemic and it’s worse than ever now. I probably won’t be back, it’s too much of a Covid risk.
