I was hungry for a burger. Decided to try Wendy’s since they are promising HOT fries!!! Extreme disappointment with the fries AND the burger! Very clearly ordered NO mustard or onion. Got to the pay window. My total was $5.89. I gave the young lady $6 and she couldn’t make change!!! Even though the register told her what to give me. She went and got the manager!!! Oh my gosh!!!! Seriously???? When I mentioned to her she needed to learn to make change she said she had just started! What? You don’t know addition and subtraction???? I even asked about my burger before I took it. Luckily I checked it before I left and you could smell the mustard before I even opened it!! And COLD FRIES TOO! NO!!! I used to go to Wendy’s all the time….won’t be happening anymore.
I work for Doordash. I waited over 10 minutes over my pick up time. My customer order 2 drinks so I ask for a drink tray. Wendy’s large cups are to small on the bottom of the cup that they don’t stay in the tray when you take a turn or curve. (Wished I knew that) Also they didn’t put the lid on tight. Thank God that I had an understanding customer.
Recent experience was more a problem of cleanliness that anything but it took nearly 25 minutes to get our food, and no it wasn't very busy, while the wait wasn't a giant deal as every where is slow right now but the tables/ counters drink machine and even the bathroom were discusting, none had been wipe down in hours and the bathroom was really bad, the soap dispenser was empty and in the sink and I definitely saw an employee go to the bathroom so they didn't wash their hands either. This was around 3pm on Thursday the 19th of may.
I requested lettuce and tomato on my sandwich and they didn't put it on but I was charged for the extra anyways. I got a sweet tea and they gave me an unsweetened tea. It's like they go out of their way to do the opposite of what the customer asks. I usually don't have a problem with any Wendy's location, it just might be this location specifically.
The lady taking orders at the window seemed rushed for no reason. She seemed impatient even though I was the only one in line. When I got to the window she was very rude. I'll just have to say you shouldn't have someone trying to take orders and talk to the people at the window. That just causes confusion and miscommunication. Aside form that my wife and I had got chicken nugget and they were awful. We both got sick form them. Will be a long time if at all I go back to Wendy's.
I went through the drive thru this afternoon and they were so incredibly nice!!!! The woman who took my order and the gentleman who accepted payment were very friendly!! The food was hot and delicious.
It was about 8:00p on Friday evening. My niece and I were down the road at Med Tech prkwy & needed to use the restroom. When we arrived 2 of the 3 workers were sitting in the lobby eating. It was a heavy set woman & a guy with a mustache who was I'm guessing was the manager due to his shirt. I went to open the doors and they had both sides locked. For what reason? None whatsoever other than them just wanting to "eat in peace". I asked through the glass as to why the doors were locked and the girl said she didn't know, but didn't even try unlocking them. My niece who is 8 only needed to use the restroom & they wouldn't even let her do that. Pure laziness & unacceptable customer service. I DO NOT recommend this place. I have always had problems here. Food or not. It's obviously not going to change anytime soon.
Just close the whole store. Since they got rid of the old manager this place is trash!
Wendy’s People St location Johnson City!Today is 2/1/22 and I went by and had the pleasure of having Steven assist with my order at the drive thru! Wow is all I have to say! He never missed a beat and so enthusiastic ! I’ve honestly never had nothing short of Superior Service at this location! But he needs to move up fast! I honestly believe that this young man will go far! I truly hope to see him lead this store! He is a very positive soul! And will make this store flourish! Jessica H
