I’ve only eaten here once, but it was a great experience. I got green tea, sushi, and steamed pork dumplings. They have a massive menu consisting of Japanese and Chinese fare. Nice, quiet place with great atmosphere and attentive service. I also got the fried cheesecake “to go” to eat later. I would like to see healthier specialty sushi rolls - almost all the choices had tempura something or other (fried) fish or crab.
I came here based on a recommendation from foodie friends of mine...This place rocks! Wonderful atmosphere, great to-go packaging, quick service. Not even to mention... the WONDERFUL freshly prepared food. You can tell the food served at Ming's is cook with love and care.I pass this recommendation on to you. Seriously, give it a try!
Best Asian food in tricities!!! Absolutely love it
I ordered chirachi. Japanese food I typically beautiful. With a dish like chirachi, the chef gets to showcase their knowledge, skills, and presentation. Not the case at Ming's, whew. This is fish bait I got for 20.00.Maybe they just put effort into their Chinese food, but then why even have Japanese on the menu?
Absolutely, unquestionably the worst Chinese American food I have ever eaten. I stopped in on Saturday 2 April for lunch. I was met by a less than enthusiastic waitress who seated me, asked me what I wanted to drink. I asked for a Yuengling. She seemed confused and pointed to the menu obviously not knowing what beers were available. I ordered a pork egg roll and General Tsos chicken with fried rice. The egg roll was definitely a purveyor provided frozen egg roll not scratch made. The Chicken arrived with the fried rice. The chicken and sauce again was pre frozen. The chicken was dry as a bone with very little sauce that had a couple of dried red peppers thrown in. One broccoli floret sat on the side of the plate. Fried rice? Hardly. It was white rice with a bit of soy sauce for color. Completely tasteless. I had four bites of the dish , drank my beer, paid and left.
Absolutely dreadful experience. First they messed up on our order for pickup so I call and they tell me to come back to the store when I can for a replacement. We drive all the way back after speaking with a lady on the phone who said the replacement order will be ready in 15 minutes and when we get there some guy tells us he won't replace the food. We will never return here again! Better hope they get the order right the first time.
great service and exceptional devotion to quality of food served, whether in house or pick up!!
My wife and I came here for a lunch date and really enjoyed the food. Place is good sized and people were spread out so was kinda nice and quiet. Nice to get to choose between Chinese or Japanese. Really like the crunchies they give you at the table. Price was normal for area.
The food was delicious and very fresh. I got the chicken curry and my husband had the Singapore rice noodles. We were with a large group and everyone shared, so we got to try a lot of different things. The garlic short ribs were delicious! If you go try something you normally wouldn't, you may find a new favorite. Our server was wonderful too. He was very sweet and funny, and took the time to teach us about some of the food.We will definitely be back!
Food was excellent. Young man working the door, cleaning tables, serving (and refilling) drinks provided very prompt and courteous service. The woman serving us was extremely unfriendly, which was the worse part of our experience. Dined at Ming’s on a Thursday; will go back for the food.
