Breakfast order to go, ready on time, excellent biscuits and gravy, both the mewtyvabd veggie (mishroom) variety. Also loved the cinnamon biscuits! Location is clean, bright, and welcoming.
It was so good! The biscuits were perfect and fluffy, the chicken was delightful and the bacon was cooked perfectly.You're going to drop some money here, this isn't Waffle House, this upscale southern breakfast/brunch at its finest. But it also won't break the bank.Your ordering makes this place extra unique as there's always a question of the month for you, and your answer is your order name. Be creative about it. Have fun.The Peach tea was perfect, not overly sweet but not unsweetened. The fried green tomatoes were cooked to perfection. The batter wasn't overly fried, and you could easily cut them with your fork without everything turning to mush.The only place that compares in quality and experience is Bloom in Bristol.Highly recommend, local or passing through.
We came to Johnson City due to a medical emergency and this was by far the best place we ended up eating breakfast during our stay. The food was outstanding, the friendliness of the staff was even more impressive, and we’d definitely go back. The manager even checked in on us and even gave us some of their DELICIOUS iced cinnamon biscuits so we could share them with our dad who was in the hospital.Pictured is the Squawking Goat that was full of flavor and tender chicken!
The best breakfast! The biscuits were perfectly flakey and fluffy. The maple bacon was heavenly, and the syrup was some of the best. Don’t forget to order an iced latte, you will not be disappointed.
This is absolutely hands down the best breakfast in Johnson city!! Great atmosphere with awesome service and food!!
This was my first trip to Johnson City and this was probably the best breakfast I had the entire time. I ordered the Farmer. The biscuit was soft and buttery, the chicken crispy, and the apple butter added the perfect amount of sweetness. The Vanilla Maple latte was delicious. Not too sweet which is perfect as I don’t like overly sweet coffee. I will definitely be visiting again to try other meal items in the future.
When you order they ask you a question, your answer is the name on your order. They yell your answer out so you pick up your order. You pick up after yourself after you eat.The food was so delicious and fresh. The staff were super friendly. I had the Bow Yo-Yo, Asiago and bacon waffle with fried chicken with fresh made to order orange juice and the special coffee, caramel toffee crunch latte.Definitely recommend this place
I think it’s great there are a few places to get breakfast in Johnson City (besides your normal fast food joints). The restaurant was clean, the guys behind the counter were polite, and the food was good. Great experience.
Super good food! It was a bit of a wait, but it was graduation weekend at ETSU so it was totally expected! They offered us free coffee while we waited and the place has a great atmosphere!
We stopped in today as our last stop before heading home to NY. We came to town to visit our Son and New baby. Our sister and her husband joined us. The atmosphere was so great! We were greeted at the door. They made it fun with the questions of the month. My husband misses his Southern roots and this hit the spot! The menus was great! And even accommodated our picky eaters (10y/o girls are the worst ) - haha but jokes aside the meals were Great the coffee was fantastic. Thank you for the Biscuits to go. My 16yo at home will be very happy -(IF they make it there)
