Went to the Italian pizza pubFor the first time tonight. Originally for karaoke. The staff is super nice. The food is wonderful. Great selection. This is not a chain family owned and operated you aren't going to get the tiny slices like you get at chains. The slices require 2hamds to eat not a large place or large menu but great prices and great food
Pizza and beer
I have eaten here for years and the quality was very consistent. Unfortunately the past 3 or 4 times I visited I could tell the recipe or cooking method had been changed. It's resembling NY style pizza less and less: lacking flavor, crust is thicker, and there isn't that weightiness to it anymore. Probably remains the best pizza in the tri-cities, but it's not what it used to be. Maybe due to new management?Last visit I was served what seemed to be frozen chicken that was waterlogged. When asked if it was freezer food, I was met with "yeah what about it?" I just expect fresh chicken for $10+. Fileted chicken breast is cheap.
I don't know what's going on I used to eat there a couple times a week but recently the pizzas have just been getting worse . Specifically the pizza's now are fat ,sloppy, greasy & before they we're thin,chewy,crispy & garlicky. Not to mention they raised the prices. I kept coming back thinking it was a fluke, maybe some new dude making pizzas that is in training. Nope, unfortunately it didn't get any better.

This establishment has greatly improved under new management. They have quickly become one of my top 3 local Pizza go-to restaurants. Besides the delicious food, they have a great environment back in the Pub Out Back area. And the staff are so nice! I can't wait to see what events and happenings come to this part of W. Walnut street! I highly recommend!!!
This place is absolutely awesome. First let me say the pizza is hands down best pizza in Johnson City..... Absolutely terrific! We went on a Tuesday night specifically for karaoke..... the pizza was an added bonus and great fuel for an amazing night! Karaoke was super freakin' awesome. Everyone there seemed to have an amazing time and I saw so many smiles. Great place! Highly, highly recommend!!!!!!!
