We had a great experience at Holy Taco Boones Creek! Our server Josh was so nice and took great care of us! He got our food out quick! The coconut margaritas are sooo good!! We will definitely come again!
The appetizers and meal were fantastic! Loved sitting on the back patio on a beautiful day.And Josh was an incredible server! He made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this restaurant! Will be back many times.

This was my first time eating here.Server couldn't explain some of the food items. Server delivered the meals, never came back to the table to see if everything was o.k..It wasn't.The taco dinner I ordered, came soggy and the specially marinated meat in them, weren't tasteful at all. It was the roasted pork, thee expensive $14.00 taco house special.We advised the general manager, as he did come by our table and asked if everything was o.k..We discussed our issues with him, but he didn't seem too bothered that we were served the "bottom of the pot" as he put it as to why the food tasted and looked like it did. He explained that the restaurant decided not to serve that particular type of taco any more. WOW!!After looking at some of the reviews online and the pics of the food people were eating, I thought it would be a good place to try.For me, not so good, food or the service.We wont be going back.
We waited 10 minutes to be seated which wasn't that big of a deal even though there weren't that many people there. We got burritos my beef was ok but my husband's chicken was not very good. We finished our meal and waited 15 minutes and finally the waitress came to our table and we told her we needed our bill. We waited a while longer and while I was in the bathroom she asked my husband if we needed our ticket and he told her yes again. Well we set there for twenty more minutes, my husband had to get up and find someone, the waitress came said we are short staffed are you all ready for your ticket and my husband said yes we have asked you 3 times. She huffed and walked off. She walked to our table to give us our ticket never said sorry you had to wait nothing. I walked to the front to pay and she still never said a word. I stood there counting my money for a minute just to give her a chance to apologize or say anything. She never said a word. That is the first time I have not left a tip in my life I know how it is so I always leave a good tip. All's she would have had to say is sorry even with all the waiting. She never even asked if our food was good. We arrived at 8:30 and didn't leave until 10:15. 2 kids meals that were 5 dollars each and 2 burritos and cokes to drink was 50 dollars.
Today I went for my first visit and it was really good! Great service big portions and wonderful taste!
I threw my son’s 1st birthday party at Holy Taco and Cantina Boones Creek, and it was absolutely amazing! The manager Paul was super helpful, he was checking in on us every 15 minutes or so to ensure we didn’t need anything. Paul and another worker set up the taco buffet table all on their own. We had the party in the beer garden, and it was perfect! Everyone was so impressed with the restaurant, the food, and Paul’s helpfulness! This is the right place to have a party, or just to go out to eat! Their tacos were delicious! It was truly an honor to have my son‘s first birthday party here, and we will certainly be back!
Our first time at this place and we were so pleasantly surprised!! Amazing food and service!! We met the General Manager, Paul, and he was so polite and answered all the questions we had. So impressive!! When you go, try the Taquito (chicken or beef) and the queso dip and the desserts!! Awesome!! Will definitely go back.
Already a fan of the other two Johnson City locations,tried the Boones Creek one tonight and it was AWESOME! Same great Holy Taco food and service in a great new location-love the covered back patio! Cant wait to hang out there in warmer weather. Servers were super friendly and attentive-cant recommend them enough. I ❤️ Holy Taco!!!!
