I had the full rack with potatoes and onions and the loaded baked potato, first off amazing ribs literally fall off bone l. They was so tender I was able to pull the bones out of the meet and the sides was phenomenal that potato they offer is so huge!!!!!!!!My kids had a side sald and wings and my 6 year old who is very picky ate 12 wings and Mac and cheese and fries. We definitely will be back thank you for the great experience ☺️
Ordered doordash from here was super excited but was met with disappointment. I ordered the pulled pork dinner and the portions were tiny but maybe that is just the way this place is. The Mac and cheese just seemed like Kraft. The corn bread is where it got really bad. It smelled like sweaty gym socks and tasted the exact same as it smelled. The pulled pork tasted good which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. I probably won’t eat here again but maybe it’s just not for me.
I generally give a benefit of a doubt but I picked up food. Me and family will not eat here again. The boneless wings I had were over cooked and no seasoning. The bone in chicken wings had a foul smell and was way over cooked. The coleslaw tasted like it was soured. The person who brought my meal to my car was not very friendly. I really hope that things get worked out but for the price I paid the meal should of been sooo much better. When I did get the food it was cold and I was there at the time I made on the site to pick up.
4.5 stars!Best wings in the Tri-Cities, hands down, and the burnt ends are our favorite. I'm a big fan of Hokie Smokie because they have a huge menu with plenty of options including many sides to choose from.They've had a hard time with staffing during the pandemic, but it's a family business and I want to support local places that aren't chains. Kudos to the cook who stepped up to wait tables today when the servers called out - he did a fantastic job and was so friendly!
Staff is very friendly but not a fan of the food at all. We got ribs, burnt ends, and a baked potato with chicken. Ribs are reheated as the server stated and not tender at all. Burnt ends were huge, fatty, and definitely not cooked like burnt ends. Baked potato wasn’t cooked all the way, cold, and chicken was maybe a 1/2 cup and very dry. We will not be returning. The owner gave us a huge discount which was great!

Worst restaurant I've ever been to. I wasted 110 dollars on something we couldn't even eat. Filthy place. Dipped ice out of a 5 gallon bucket. I would starve to death before I ever took my family back here. Please heed my warning you could be putting your families health at risk. My daughter goes to ETSU and I'm making sure she tells those kids to stay away. I will also be having everyone to put out warnings on all their social media platforms. I really think for public safety I should call the health department
Best bbq I’ve had in a long time, and The fries are always crispy but soft. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.
We ordered here for the first time and were very disappointed. If the food delivered to us is representative of this restaurant, I'm surprised they're still in business. We ordered the ½ chicken which was dry. We also ordered the BBQ ribs. We received smoked ribs with loose BBQ sauce poured on almost as an afterthought. None of the sauce was cooked on the ribs. The sides included collards without any hint of seasoning, warm sour coleslaw,and macaroni with a runny cheese sauce.Live and learn. I'll never order here again.
