If I could give no stars I would because this experience doesn’t earn even one star!! I use to love going to cheddars to eat, now I’ll never be back. I ordered the steak and shrimp meal, asked for my steak well done received it bleeding! Sent my steak back, and keep in mind before I did this I had cut half my steak up into pieces, gave the waiter my steak and when he come back half my steak was missing and the steak was still not well done! We only seen our waiter 4 times the whole time we were there. I’m very upset with this experience. This food was not worth my money or time. I could have cooked a meal myself better than that!
Love some cheddars. I normally get the better than your mom meatloaf. But since covid hit they took it off the menu. So I went with my second favorite, the bourbon glazed salmon.
We arrived around 3:10 pm. The restaurant was not crowded. My mother in law ordered potato soup. I ordered white fish with brocolli casserole and red beans and rice, and my husband ordered shrimp and chicken tenders with mashed potatoes and green beans. We waited on our food for over 40 minutes. The waitress told us there was a computer glitch. If she forgot I can forgive her, but the food was not great. The potatoe soup was like chunks of potatoes. My red beans and rice did not taste as though they had been cooked at all. The green beans tasted really strange so they were not eaten. The potato soup and red beans and rice were sent back. I substituted green beans which were even worse. I hate to complain because this has always been our favorite place to eat, but this place needs better food or better cooks. The waitress said the manager gave us 10% off for our bad dining experience. It would have been nice to have talked to the manager.
They were busy this Saturday night and somehow got me my Togo order ready 15 minutes before it was supposed to have been and I was ecstatic!!! Everything was hot and cooked perfectly. The gal who brought it out to me was very pleasant. Omg my belly and heart is so happy ?
We ate at Cheddar's for my wife's birthday and decided to go all out from appetizers to dessert. The Wisconsin cheese bites and croissants are phenomenal. The croissants is so light that it literally melts in your mouth and the Wisconsin cheese bites are perfectly crunchy and well seasoned. The ceasar salad is fresh and crunchy with the most dynamic dressing I have ever had. The steaks are grilled to order with a perfect sear and cook with skill to the wellness desired. They are well seasoned, but not overly so, tender, and practically perfect in every way. I cannot remember the last time that I ate somewhere and fully willing finished all my fries. They were crispy and soft with just the right amount of salt. Dessert. Dessert was fantastic but do not expect to eat the whole helping after finishing the rest of your meal. They are massive! The cookie sundae and cheesecake are perfection. The cookie crunchy on the edges and soft and chewy on the inside with rich hot fudge generously poured over top with two plentiful scoops of creamy vanilla ice cream. 5 out of 5 stars from me. We will be returning to Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen in Johnson City in the future.
Nice variety of food. Service was real good. Waiter stayed on top of things.
Friendly staff, good service and food was delicious! We we're seated and served quickly despite it being a very busy lunch hour Loved the clean, lovely atmosphere.
Took my mom out for a rather late lunch. Dishes at Cheddar’s are always impeccable. The sides and salads here are top notch and if you haven’t tried ribs here you don’t know what you’re missing! I got my old favorite, chicken pot pie and a side salad. Our server was all over the place, but he never ignored us or made us feel abandoned. Great work holding up through this virus crud Cheddar’s team!
Food was tastless and salty and the frys where cold. Server was 5he only part we liked. She was great. This place is no different than a cracker barrel. Beautiful building nice inside food sucks
I’ve always had a great experience here been over 10 times. Only once was my steak hard and over cooked on a to go order. They made it right and I appreciate how they went above and beyond. Staff is always friendly. I love this place and will continue to go for years to come.
