The food here was good. I had hamburger and french fries. The burger was pretty good. Better than fast food but not great. The fries were not very good. I don't know if it was a spice they put on them or not but I didn't like them. A note to the server. We paid with a 50. She gave us a 20 in change. This made it difficult to give a tip. I understand that sometimes it is difficult to give change but she could have said something. Luckily we had a few dollar bills between the three of us.
Normally a wonderful experience. We decided to go for the Father’s Day special. We brought our dog who is always welcome on the patio. Went inside to tell them we were there and were told they were not serving on the patio. There was no discussion on even us going inside to order and get our own beverages and food just a very curt “no”. This was not our normal experience or the normal team that welcomes us with a smile ?
Service is what earned the 3 stars here. Our waitress was awesome. Food and drink, not so much. I ordered frozen Pina Colada. It was so horrible I couldn't drink it. Ordered Ruebuns. Most of the meat was only one one side of the sandwich and had to ask for thousand island dressing on the side because I thought cook had forgotten it. Got a side of dressing and the quality was so bad it didn't really have any taste. Not a good eating experience here.
The chicken was tender and moist. The burger was great. The appetizer had an awesome variety.
The service is good. Credit where credit is due. The salads…really good. But, the steak. Did they hire a new chef? Do they have meat thermometers. Really, this restaurant has the potential to be great. Since they are skimping on the hours they really should focus on quality.
Great service, great food, great atmosphere. We will definitely visit again.
Let's start with the positive. The staff was very nice. They were working as fast as they could and trying to keep up with the flow. The steak quesadilla was Cheese with the essence of steak. One of the pieces didn't even have the essence. The fish and chips was ok however be warned.... it's fish sticks not chunks of fish. It was filling but I would have rather had two decent size filets than four fish sticks.... that's just my preference. Overall it was ok but I definitely wasn't in love with the meals I purchased.
Absolutely outstanding! One of the best restaurants in Johnson City. Service was fantastic. Danielle was prompt and had great menu and bar knowledge. Food came out perfectly cooked, well seasoned and tasty. Prices were very reasonable. The atmosphere couldn’t be beat. We asked the manager to allow a channel on the TV in our booth. She programmed it without hesitation. A great experience I would highly recommend. This is our new favorite place in Johnson City!

We have been coming to Beefs for about four years now and have NEVER had a bad experience! Food is always hot and fresh, drinks are legit bar quality and the service is always great! Matthew, Sandy, Brooke and Paulette always treat you like family and are efficient and professional! We’re lifers at Beefs Boones Creek!!
