My daughter and I went here to get something to eat after a movie. It was about 9pm and not particularly busy. The girl who sat us appeared sick with symptoms, bored and disinterested. The restaurant was uncomfortably cold where we were sitting. Our server was pleasant and we inquired about purchasing gift cards and there was some confusion about being able to (or not) using the card to purchase this evening's meal. The manager came to the table and we got that straightened out. I ordered Nachos and a beer while my daughter had buffalo chicken wings with bleu cheese dressing. My nachos arrived well in advance of her wings and they were good. When the wings finally arrived they were not the "buffalo" wings she had ordered and he had also brought ranch instead of bleu cheese. At least 15 minutes later she got the correct wings but still no bleu cheese! Waiter stopped at another table en route. Tick tock... finally got the right dressing, ate and asked for my check. Total was $27.00 and change. Gave server my card and after a few more minutes he brought me a reciept for me to sign that showed MORE ITEMS ADDED TO MY CHECK and NOW over $38.00 charged to my card! My daughter who had previously worked for an Applebees had had enough and summoned a nearby waitress to bring the manager ...who arrived even MORE minutes later! He adequately explained away the mistake on the check (I guess) blaming it on something the cook did and the ordering process...and apologized adding that his cook had become frustrated and actually just walked out leaving HIM back there alone to cook orders! Maybe an employee meeting is in order. We did enjoy the food though once we actually got it all. Sorry but I probably won't be back to this Applebees anytime soon though..
The bartenders Jason, and Sara are the best bartenders at apple bees they are always great and give amazing service. And Brayden is one of their best servers there also, and she gives amazing service and makes sure you always have anything and everything you could possibly need or want.
Are here over the weekend. I was surprised at the bill there were four of us and it was around seventy dollars. They are clean and courteous. They could add to their menu would be my. Only suggestion.
Would give 0 stars if I could since we never actually got to dine here. We were told they were short staffed so it would be 5-10 minutes before we could get a table. That's pretty much the way everywhere is so not really a big deal. We decided to go to the bar to get a drink while we waited. Probably the rudest bartender I've ever encountered. She took the time to tell us 3 times it would be a while for her to get to us if she ever would be able too. In the 3 times she walked away from the other guests she could have twisted the top off a bottle of beer! We quickly realized they did not want us or anyone else there so we left and went to smokey bones. We had excellent service and food there, bartender at smoky bones made a $40 tip! I recommend you keep on driving past Applebee's and go to smoky bones. I'll add a few more things. While this interaction happened I observed a server sitting down and playing on her phone. Another server eating and drinking in a corner. Noone was moving with any sort of urgency. So that's not a staffing issue that's a leadership issue. Will never be back and hopefully this review leads you to not ever even try.
I’d love to know who did my to go order and said “oh that’s enough” ?? frustrating to get a to go order that is 2 bites of something.
Need to spray for roaches ! One crawled across mirror in mens restroom while I was washing hands. I told one of the waiters . Other than that the food and service was great !?
We went here on Christmas Eve after eight o'clock. I was pleasantly surprised that they were still open that late on Christmas Eve. They were busy. However , we were seated very quickly. Our waitress , Michelle came over to us reasonably quick , especially considering they were short staffed. Michelle quickly got our food out to us. Our food was awesome as usual!!
My family and I love applebees but this time was a very unpleasant first of all we waited for over an hour for our food to be brought to us, second the waiter kept telling us oh they are working hard on it the food will be out soon, yeah an hour an 20 minutes later we get it. Then we get our bill it was delivered over charged so my boyfriend had to go back in and get them to fix it so after eating and getting that fixed we spent almost 2 and a half hours there. Then the food made his son sick to his stomach after we get home. Don’t go there unless your patient or have a lot of time to waste. Also make sure to look at your bill before you pay.
The service was spot on our waiter was super cool and the steak I ordered med.rare was perfect hard to get a steak cooked rare these days if they offered baked potatoes would give them 5 stars no problem
I enjoyed each meal I ordered. The food was seasoned perfectly. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful.
