Wafflehouse on south side of Jackson, Tn. Stopped here after waiting over 45 minutes at the one by Casey Jones (and was never waited on). Very friendly and efficient.
The servers & cooks are always nice welcoming and of course the food is always cooked the way you want & is always delicious

There wasn't many customers but several came to dine in and a few to carry out. I could not say anything but good about the group that had this place on point that morning. Food was great.

**Let me preface by noting that our family doesn't live anywhere near a Waffle House, so we consider our visits there to be a treat.That being said, our family LOVES going to Waffle House, & not just for breakfast either! We arrived here at about 6:45pm on a Monday night, & they weren't terribly busy. The restaurant & restrooms were clean & in good order. There were 3 other patrons eating when we arrived, & a few more came in while we were there. Our waitress was very friendly & she was quick to get our drink order. Our child stayed with her favorite- breakfast; she had the kids eggs & bacon with a side of hashbrowns. She loved it & ate every bite. My hubs went on to order the Cheesesteak Melt Hashbrown Bowl, while I had the Chicken Melt Hashbrown Bowl. Both of these meals were absolutely delicious! The chicken was fried & super tender. The servings were generous, & our food arrived hot. My daughter even enjoyed a few bites of my meal. ?? The cook & waitress were the only employees at this time, & they were operating like a finely tuned machine. They were constantly keeping busy managing the restaurant even when they weren't cooking & serving. Waffle House is a sure thing for affordable, yummy, comfort food.
We had a great experience here. The waitress got hit with tables all at once (it was just her and the cook), but was she was very courteous. She brought our food very quick and the food was hot and good. She made us a pot of fresh coffee and was very friendly - providing us with good service.
The waffle Houses in this area excellent While nothing fancy no white tablecloths etc. The food is very good at an exceptional price for today.
Always great food and friendly staff. You can never go wrong with Waffle House.
