I was going to complain about the inattentive service and the unsanitary bathroom, but my negative review will just be another of the many awful reviews this place has. obviously no one cares.
How is it that my partner and I walking to TGIF at 11:45 p.m. and are greeted at the entrance: "We're sorry, we already had last call." Oh, well then can we possibly get some takeout: "I'm sorry but we already had last call." Even though the website clearly states that they are open until 1 a.m. on Saturday night, they apparently decided to close at 12.I personally don't care when you close but please have accurate information on your website so that people like myself don't waste expensive gasoline to drive all the way to TGIF, only to be disappointed and let down. It's called INTEGRITY: doing what you say you're going to do. It's evidence of yet another cultural value slowly eroding. We will probably will never go there again
Yesterday we buried an angel my grandbaby Aryieka. She was only 21 years old. We came together as family and gave her a beautiful send off home. I want to thank Mercer Brothers Funeral Home in Jackson,TN. They are kind and professional. I want to thank Friday's Restaurant for lovingly serving some 20 people. I want to thank everyone for making this sad occasion a blessed time.
OK! Let's preface w if I could rate only parts of my experience w only partial stars, 1/2 would be the rating! My family brought me out for Mother's Day (not our first choice but the wait most other places was way too long). But, then being able to get a table right away should've been a taling sign too...hmm! Moving along. From the server (later revealed as day mgr) who opted not to wait on our party to Austin, our server who'd been poorly trained & was NOT ready for a holiday weekend to poorly timed and ill-prepared food to the rest of the unfriendly wait staff who came to work NOT wanting to be there to finally the manager, Ron or Roy because he gave me one name and my daughter a different name that stated the reason for the poor experience as: "It's bad everywhere ", this couldn't have been a worse dining experience! No appetizer plates for our appetizers. No cutlery to eat the entrees that came before said appetizers. Watery, soda tasting slushes. I could go on but, wow!

Honestly we waited over an hr to be seated. They are very short staffed but we're from out of town and no longer have TGIF in our city so wanted it. The over all service was ok, but there was a bug at our first table. Our food was way over cooked. The manager forgot to give a discount like she said initially The poor waitress was running so fast she messed up all the credit cards and charged the wrong food to the wrong cards, but we still tipped her well bc we were understanding of her effort. They were so pitiful they were closing at 8pm bc they couldnt handle the situations that were arising with customers. I felt bad, but will not likely go back next yr for Our Yearly Family Trip. But I may if things have turned all the way around. Use to really love this restaurant and hadnt been since 2019. I think they were trying though with what they had bc they did remake our food and the manager did finally rectify a small discount for the "friend" that tried to dine with us at the table. And after the 2nd try we just divided the difference at the table with the card mistakes and left the waitress a nice tip. Not a great experience by no means at all.
Great staff. The ran a little behind but you could easily see they were under staffed. It was nice to sit and relax and have such a laid back atmosphere. I'll eat here again if I'm ever down this way again.
I don’t know what happened but we got there and didn’t get our food and kept waiting and other tables they came in after us was getting there food. We finally got it and had to take it in to go boxes to make our movie we had already bought tickets too. They needed to get it together. A manager never even came to apologize either.
The worst service I’ve ever had at ANY restaurant! Our waitress took our order and never came back to the table, I think the ONLY way you will get service at this location is if your sitting at the bar, the chicken was very poor quality and burnt, it’s rather difficult to try to eat burnt chicken, let alone when your waitress disappears and you have nothing to drink, we sat there for 45 minutes before asking another waitress if we could pay another way because we hadn’t seen our waitress since she took our order, i would not advise ANYONE to eat here unless you plan on sitting at the bar!
Poor service, server spent all her time at bar , waited 45 mins on a soda refill. Server refused to leave bar to get us refills or give us our bill
