We each got the chopped steak and it was excellent. The Mac and and cheese was some of the best we have ever gotten. And the service was great.
This is a really good restaurant but there are some serious issues with management or hostess stand. This has happened to hs multiple times and we go elsewhere. They absolutely will not answer the phone for call ahead seating. They told me so in person. If they get busy they just stop answering all phone calls. I get that... BUT we live over an hour away and would love to get our name on the list for our family of 7. If not, we wait an hour after the 1 hour+ drive. 2 hours of time for us to dine in your restaurant!!?? We can't use the online process because it is only for 4 people max. I'm about to start going to a competitor steak house which is so sad because the food here is great. Please address this asap. Ridiculous. Quick way to lose your valued customers.
Excellent service Paris was our waiter, he was very attentive. Manager stopped by asked how everything was. I mentioned entrance windows on doors needed to be attended to, when leaving were freshly cleaned, first impressions are everything in how you differentiate yourself from all the others. High cudos for her taking the advice and directing the windows to be touched up.
The first time I visited with my group of coworkers after getting off work from another restaurant was horrible. Closing was 10, we arrived at 9 and the waiter was annoyed to see us, extremely rude and somehow managed to get all of our orders wrong. For example I ordered a steak medallion salad and was handed steak and shrimp. The first time we ordered drinks, the drinks came out 10 minutes before our waters did which was weird. Servers know that that’s not good. Even though the place was dead, it took 45 minutes for our (completely incorrect) food to come out. So in that time, we tried to order a second drink at 9:30 and we were told the bar was closed even though they closed at 10 and we still hadn’t gotten our food? The waiter was rude about it when we asked questions. Seems dumb to insult a group of girls clearly dressed in server uniforms. That’s money for him, which he didn’t get in the end. Idk if he’s still there but I hope not.Tonight was much better! Our waiter was really nice and everything was correct for the 5 of us, steaks were great, and we were able to order 2 rounds of drinks, and he notified us when it was last call. He & the food were amazing and he was tipped about 60% of the total bill, which he deserved.
We came here several months ago and had a less-than excellent experience. So, we decided to give it a second chance. Positives: 1) Seated almost immediately even with a full house and estimated 15-20 minute wait 2) Food was decent Not-so-positives: 1) Our waitress was a mystery most of the night. She barely came by, never brought bread (after asking us twice if we would like some), and spilled tea in the floor and on the table. (Accidents happen, but with no apology and just walked away. I just declined any further refills) 2) When the food was delivered, the plates were literally thrown across the table. Clanging and sliding 3) Loud, loud, loud. Between four "happy birthday" serenades and three stops for server line dances and yelling it was overstimulating at least. Maybe if the service had been even average we wouldn't have noticed. But, it just became one more thing Overall, I'm out. For the price tag, it isn't worth not being satisfied.
Food and service excellent,waiting to get a table not good
I was truly disappointed in my to go order I placed . I ordered 3 meals and 2/3 was wrong . I tried calling to make a complaint and no one answered the phone. Customer service keeps every business open because without the customers there is no business. I was extremely hungry and I couldn’t eat because my order was completely wrong from what I ordered . If I could rate lower than 1 star I definitely would say negative zero in the service I received and to make matters worse. I noticed a 4.80 tip was added without my consent. We had a rough week and just left the hospital from visiting a family member and decided we need to just sit and enjoy a few minutes of normal. It was busy for a Thursday but our wait was less than 30 minutes. Anna, our server, was amazing. She took our drink order than gave us ample time to decide on our dinner. The food took a little longer than usual but it was hot and fresh. The entire evening was enjoyable and Anna made us feel like we were the only people in her section.
Wow, I travel all over the United States. I always set behind the bar and I watch the host, waitresses, and the bartenders. These guys are the best crew ever!!!The hospitality was awesome and the service was great.I recommend this Texas Roadhouse to anyone who wants to come out and be treated like someone.The food was fast, done and well prepared for the likeness and I give it two thumbs up. Jackson Tennessee so far the best one I've been to.Thanks guys ?
