Had a bug in my food. The manager denied it before even looking at it. She came up to the table and the first thing she said was “we don’t have bugs in our food”. She look at the bug at said it was a seed from the strawberries on the pancakes. I didn’t know strawberry seeds crawled. Tried to show her the picture but she refused to look. Will never eat here again.
Excellent food and staff. The waitress we had was great. She came by to check on us 3-4 times, never let our drinks go empty, and very friendly & nice. We will be going back there when we come back to the Jackson TN area.
It was a great experience! The food and service were excellent. Our server, Jay, was very friendly and attentive to our every need. We were just in Jackson for the day and decided to have breakfast at one of our favorite restaurants that we had frequented years ago as we traveled through. It was just as good as our home location in Collierville. We will definitely dine here again in the future.
First time trying this place and will definately be back. Me and the missus tried a few different things, potato pancakes, patty melt, and French toast platter. Pretty good and reasonable prices on what we got. Gonna have to try the bakery next time.
Just trying the restaurant for the first time, bought muffins $3.19 each or buy 3 get 3 total $10.67. Not bad muffins moist and yummy, Chocolate with chocolate chips and Apple with Carmel glaze.
Stopped in for lunch at the tail end of Friday lunch rush (holiday weekend with Friday being the observable holiday for most). Had about a 10 to 15 minute wait if even. Not bad. The service was pretty good and food was great. The portion sizes for each of our meals were very sufficient. Obviously price was something to argue with as everything has gone up ridiculously. Biggest things I noticed was disorganization amongst the management with the crew and then when flow of information didn't happen, management scolding crew to get it together, when appearing to be her fault. Another would be a waitress openly complaining about a fellow employee to a customer. Where others who were not her table can hear. These two personnel issues were nothing really major to me personally, however to some it sets a bad taste in the mouth. In all a good place to eat with rather good food.
We had the best service tonight. We called to see what the wait time was for a party of 6 we were told there wasn't one so I said thank you and ended the call. We didn't say we were coming but when we walked in we were asked if we just called when we said yes Laura said we have you a table ready already...i was very surprised!! We had the best server her name was Brittney. Our cups never went empty our food was served hot and fresh. She was fast and very friendly!! Laura was very curtious and friendly. As we we're getting ready to go I thanked them for the service we received. The food was very good. And of course the desserts were on point. Again I just want to say thank you again!!
Haven't been here in a long time, seem to just drive on by. We used to come often for breakfast, but not so close anymore. While in town this past weekend picking up supplies nearby we realized that time had slipped up and most places were closed or getting ready to close. My wife pulled up the website to find that Perkins was open until midnight, so we figured we would give it a shot. We were hung up on what to order, but kept going back to the skillet meals. One was Shrimp Teriyaki over rice with broccoli and peppers; and the other was strips of steak with potatoes, peppers, onions and brown gravy. So, we decided to order one each and split both dishes... GREAT choice!! Both were very well prepared and had great flavor. We will need to add this place back to our list for places to eat when in Jackson. I do recommend this location!
My first time and it was a great impression! Morgan took great care of us making sure we had refills and answered any questions. I got the pork chop and it was about as good as it gets! House made mashed potatoes and mac and cheese are great too. Don't miss the baked goods and pie is free on Mondays! I hope to be back for some French toast!
Driving through on a road trip and decided to get a real meal at a table. We regretted this decision. Everything was mediocre. The hash browns and pancakes just tasted like old greasy skillet. Most annoying was the "Mammoth Muffin" which was the size of a normal muffin but with less flavor. Can't say I recommend. There are plenty of other options in the area.
