I wish I could have liked this place more, but I didn’t.My server was Tara, and she was talking about gagging over the smell of Parmesan cheese while we were ordering our food and eating bread. Tara kept reaching over me to grab cups and plates instead of asking me to hand said cups and plates to her. She also stepped on my stepmom’s foot while reaching over her and me.The food was pretty mediocre. None of us were impressed with our food. For the quality of the food, it was overpriced. There is no reason that a plate of seemingly previously frozen tortellini and seemingly canned alfredo sauce should ever be priced at $10.99 for lunch. I really wanted to like this place, but I just couldn’t bring myself to.Tara was very attentive to our needs, but I think she was insensitive in how to serve us.We (the people at my table) thought the birthday singing was loud and obnoxious. I hope that group enjoyed their food and their time, but it was a little extra for the type of restaurant it is.
This place is so good, I was so excited when I took my first bite. It was nothing short of amazing. I just knew it had to be a little old lady cooking in that kitchen. It was fantastic and I will be stopping by again. Good customer service and clean restaurant.
My dad’s 90th birthday celebration was a big success!! The Old Town Spaghetti Store was my first choice as the place to be for this family gathering. I wanted it to be a very special afternoon lunch for dad filled with his favorites… Fried shrimp, birthday cake and gifts!! The staff was AMAZING!! They were prompt and willing to help me get all decor (cake) set up at the table to make dad’s birthday festive!! The food, fun, and atmosphere were just what we were looking for! Delicious Italian food and great service! Each dish was very well seasoned and the waiters came to sing happy birthday to my mom.
Just had the $9.99 Tuesday Lasagna special again. It never disappoints! HUGE portion very much appreciated and wonderful salad with house made CREAMY Italian dressing! Every time we come through Jackson it is our place to go! Our waitress, Debbie, is the best you will find anywhere! I wish I could give 10 stars!
I order take out from this store. The food is good but their portions seem to be getting smaller. But with prices rising, this seems to be the norm everywhere. I especially love their beef-ka-bob. The meat is so tender and flavorful!
Great service all around! I have extreme shellfish allergies and the server was very knowledgeable about what was safe to order. Food was great, especially if you like a spicy marinara that the spice does not over power the flavor of the marinara as well. If you like Tiramisu definitely get it for dessert.
We had an appetizer combo of fried ravioli and mozzarella sticks with meat marina for dipping. The fried ravioli were really good as was the sauce delicious. They were hot and served quickly. Had the baked spaghetti it was delicious again really enjoyed the meat sauce on it. Nice portions in a pleasant atmosphere at reasonable prices. Madison our server was excellent very pleasant and professional. Highly recommend
Entree' presentations could use some work. See pasta photo-- this is supposed to be cajun chicken pasta... however,The dessert had great presentation.
Usually pretty busy but when we have gone we have been seated with little to no wait.Love the baked spaghetti and the bread is always delicious.Service was on point ?I've gotten take out before and it was just as good as eating in.
