The food was mostly good. One in our party, (a chronic complainer), did not like the vegetable soup...said it had an 'off' taste. The service was good with a friendly staff. McAlister's prices are not the cheapest, so this is not a bargain place to eat.The spuds are gigantic!
This is an absolutely wonderful ? place to eat! As soon as you walk through the doors the friendly staff welcomes you, and patiently waits until you are ready to order! The potatoes are phenomenal and their sandwiches are scrumptious ?! I have yet to try their salads but when I do I'll be sure to update y'all on it!! Definitely recommend!!!
Placed a last minute catering order. Noon time manager was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Will use again.
The tableside ordering via the app is really robust and a great system for ordering if you’re the kind of person that doesn’t like saying what they want taken off of an item. Food was incredibly good and the prices were pretty comparable and service was quick and polite. Will be coming back to try more.

Favorite chicken salad sandwhich. No line, quickly ordered and had my food. The potato soup was delicious as well!

Although they were short staffed and within 20 minutes of closing we had been traveling for almost 6 hours with freezing winter weather coming down for the last 100 miles. Got to Jackson about 730 pm on Sunday evening and still had over 140 miles to home. Tried to find somewhere to eat but Perkins, Fridays, Rec Robin and most other dining establishments were closed. The manager said was very kind and gracious to allow us to order and dine past closing time. We ordered 2 soups, tomato bisque and Chicken Tortilla, French Dip Sandwiches and a child's pizza. Food was wonderful and was way better than some other McAlister's I have eaten in before. Thank you to the kind staff for a wonderful meal on a cold night.

I always have the best experiences here. Not only is the food good but I bring my dog and sit outside and they ALWAYS bring him a bowl of water. Service is friendly, place is clean, and food is delicious.
