Los Portales has been a staple of Jackson, Tennessee for over 25 years. Few restaurants, Mexican food-based or otherwise, have been as successful and became so beloved among locals. This location is the best of the multiple ones found throughout the city. The interior is nicely decorated. Service is normally super-quick, which is especially wonderful if you're on a quick lunch break. Food is the same type of wonderful it has always been. There are certainly more Mexican food options today than when the first Los Portales opened long ago in Jackson, but for my money and taste, this chain is the still the best the city has to offer.
Was hungry for Mexican food so decided to stop. The food and service was great.
Called in a order of Fiesta Fajitas. I live less then 5 minutes. Away. The food came straight from the kitchen and was cold. Wow it has been awhile since I have been there prices went up and food quality went way down. Won't be back.
