Everything I’ve had here has been good so far. Excellent and fast service, as well as great food and sushi.
The times I've been there, the employees are cheerful and helpful. We always feel like they genuinely appreciate our business and we are always served in a reasonable time. The food is wonderful!

Had an amazing Mother's Day dinner here! The atmosphere is relaxed with TV's and comfortable seating. The food was fresh and so delicious, we tried a ginger salad dressing and it was nice to try something new that was very good. The portions are huge and we could not finish it all in one sitting, we left so full and happy. Our waitress was wonderful and so accommodating, thank you for a wonderful experience.
Kanpai has the absolute best service! Everyone is always very friendly. This is our go to place for sushi!! We travel frequently and always try other sushi places. Nothing compares. It’s always very fresh. Our kiddos always enjoy it there too. Exceptional service, quality, and amazing food!
Very consistent quality with decently large portions for the price. The sushi rolls are sizable and theyhave many options of them as well. The Bolgogi is amazing. Chicken nuggets with fries and general Tso's are available for the more picky eaters in the group as well.
A group of 4 of us went in on a Monday night and it was not overly busy, workers were standing around, we could here employees having conversations and using curse words, and we were not once waited on. No one asking for our drink order much less anything else. We gave it the 15 minute rule and left without a word. We typically love eating here but tonight was a big let down making us question giving them our business.
Had a hankering for sushi one night, so I called in an order. I got the Rainbow Roll, and it was absolutely amazing. Best sushi I have ever had. It was amazingly fresh and delicious, and it hit the spot. I've come here a couple times before, and employees are fast & courteous. Shoutout to Litta. Sushi was typically priced -- $13-15. I will be ordering this Rainbow Roll time and time again.
Their sushi is the best! Any time we are in Jackson and in the mood for sushi, this is our go to place. Their yum yum is fantastic too!
Kanpai is a fnatstic spot in Jackson to go get sushi. Definitely underrated and not talked about enough. Been here multiple times and it's never disappointing. Always leave more than full. Prices might be a bit high but the lunch portion was a great size for its value. Taste great and the service was fine. One of my favorite sushi places in Jackson.
