The Hope Cafe, ah . . . where to begin? The first 5 times I tried to eat there I was turned away. "We're closing early today" , "we're closed all week for cleaning ", etc. I was done, plenty of other places to eat. But my sister loves the place and begged me to give it another chance. I did & finally got in! The first couple of times I ate there the food was overcooked, still good, just kinda burned. The last time everything was fine, maybe the cooks getting better. The waitresses are always friendly & everyone is nice, that's their saving grace.
This is a great place for lunch. It’s simple, but with good food, including some local Tennessee favorites. I had a BBQ pork hot dog, which was actually a sausage in a hot dog bun, covered in BBQ pork and coleslaw.
It's very nice , not much thrift store left , but the Cafe and BBQ part is awesome , great food and fair prices !! Well worth the money spent there !!
I ordered a pulled pork sandwich…I wanted the Smokey taste from the grill like a bbq sandwich what I got was a pot roast sandwich with slaw and bbq sauce…?nice environment friendly people but I’ll stick with back yard bbq for my sandwiches
I was there for breakfast and food was great as was the service. The girls even came out to my table and prayed for me as I was on my way to start my chemotherapy.
Great food and awesome service !!
Everything on the menu is delicious! Today I got the Taco Tuesday special with smoked bacon mac & cheese - so so good! The ladies that work there are so sweet. I even got a couple toys for my toddler at the attached thrift store for cheap.
Wanted to try due to all the good reviews. Won’t go back. Order well done burger and fries, I got burger that was barely cooked and a wing nut in my fries. So I just paid $9.31 for a can DrPepper, but it was good!
Great place. Reasonable prices and extremely clean
Hope Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants in town! The food is great, the service is friendly and their mission is incredible. Keep it up Hope!
