This was a great findNice atmosphere, nice staff, great food and affordable

I asked for a poke bowl and I’m allergic to gluten. I picked salmon yummy sauce and edamame. They brought it to me and added poke sauce (poke sauce isn’t gluten free). I also didn’t tell them to put poke sauce on my bowl. When I went to tell them they were super rude and the worker said “you didn’t even ask if the yummy sauce was gluten free” and I said “well is it” and she said “yes” . Like why’d you even say that then. They made it a big deal to fix it and I felt so embarrassed.

The food was good, but none of the menu prices were accurate. I was surprised when the entrees came out to nearly $40 when the menu said it would've been $30.

This was a first-time order. We ordered through the WaitrApp. We ordered "2xProtien Poke Bowl". We chose according to the app allowances: Double Greens for our base, Spicy Salmon(x2) as the meat, 3 sauces- ALL TO THE SIDE, a variety of fruit and veggies, and for our "crunch" we chose sesame seeds. All of our selections were based on dietary allergies and restrictions. We also chose the "call us" options if there were any questions or issues on their end. We did receive a phone call within 5 minutes (so we were very impressed and hopeful that we had found a new restaurant option) and the lady pointed out that we had requested all our sauces on the side. We explained that there was a gluten allergy and she explained further that the Poke sauce, specifically, was what they soaked/seasoned the spicy salmon with, and it was akin to a soy sauce. We asked if it was gluten free and she said "yes, all the sauces are gluten free". We agreed to allow the sauce soaked/seasoned salmon to be as it was (according to her above description) and thanked her for the call and the information. We waited over an hour for the order, we assumed it was due to our first-time order but had expected it sooner since we had gotten a confirmation call so soon. Upon looking at the order, immediately we saw what looked like a Tempura style-crunchy breading. We called the restaurant and spoke with a worker, as soon as she realized she was the one that made the order, she handed us over to the manager. The manager said that the Spicy Salmon, which is listed on the WaitrApp as "Spicy Salmon *raw", is made with the Tempura crunchies. We pointed out that this information was no where on their listing. Since it only indicated *RAW* there was no reason for us to assume any other factor. When we told the manager that, again, we had a gluten allergy, she told us we should have put it in our notes where we had requested the sauces to be on the side. We pointed out all our selections had been based on the diet restrictions and that in the phone call we received concerning our "special notes" of sauces on the side, that we told the person we had a gluten allergy and that we were told the Poke sauce, as well as, all the other sauces were gluten free, and that at no time in the conversation were we told that their might be a problem with our choice of Spicy Salmon. The manager then told us that the person that prepared our Poke bowl and had made the phone call had told her that we were told that the "Yum sauce" was gluten free-- We didn't even order the Yum sauce. Then the manager told us that none of the sauces are gluten free. So, now we are scratching our heads with the manager's double talk. (Do keep in mind that English was not a first language of the manager and perhaps contributed to a slip of the tongue.) When we asked if we could be reimbursed for the single bowl, we were told that we would have to speak with WaitrApp, concerning any refund as they did not receive order-payment, only the order, and were paid through the WaitR company. (This is a problem as the place you order your food, is not the place that receives the payment, and a third party makes the decisions on customer service: it does not give incentive for the restaurant to care about the quality they are sending out) She continually repeated what her employee had told her was said between us, which was not at all the case, nor did it make sense: If she had said anything about something being "gluten free" (such as the Yum Sauce claim) it would prove that she knew there was a gluten issue and could have gotten accurate information concerning the Spicy Salmon while we were on the phone, and if she was unaware of the gluten issue, why would she have mentioned any gluten free sauce. ** Also to mention is that the bowl itself was $14 (w/avacodo) and was only half filled (about a 2.5c capacity), with the chosen double amount of Greens, and Salmon, where was it??? This was not at all worth the cost even if it were

Best Asian food in town, no contest. One of my favorite places in Jackson.I eat here all the time, and the staff are really nice, the atmosphere is normally very peaceful, and the food is always amazing.

I stopped here one day during my lunch break with my boyfriend and was pleasantly surprised! I got a poke bowl and he got one of the tempura meals and they were both amazing! The food was served very quickly and easily had the most beautiful presentation of any restaurant in Jackson. I was caught off guard though because the poke bowl was served cold (purposefully) with only the salmon being warm which was weird for me sensory-wise but it still tasted great! If you're looking for a quick and unique place to stop and eat I'd definitely recommend that you go here!!

Very rude staff, tired to make a to go order informed they lady my husband and I never ate there before and she bluntly kept rushing me chose things I never had and of course when your new to a place you want to know what’s in things in case your allergic to any ingredients. She didn’t have any knowledge about their menu or anything about no ingredients just all about placing orders to get that restaurant more money! Very upsetting and disappointing!

The place was clean the food ok nothing extraordinary. The person that take my order was very rude to me. I don't recommend a place that talk to you like you are an ignorant. it doesn't feel good the way that they talk to me

HANA's poke bowls are amazing. I've only tried one other poke place, and it was not even on the same level as HANA's. The restaurant is clean, and the employees are friendly; especially Trisha, at the register. I am so glad I discovered this place.
