Changed the menu again. Half the chicken you used to get for breakfast, no grits included anymore. Eggs were burnt. Wife checked, app said 5 min wait. When we got there it was 35. Over an hour before we had food in front of us.
We took my mother for her 80th birthday on Saturday with my daughter, 3 granddaughters and husband and had the most amazing time! The food was outstanding and the waitress was so attentive and nice. The gift shop had anything you could want and the toys and sweet treats kept the kids so excited! Cracker Barrel made this day for my family so memorable. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! ♥️
Very good service.. We were told would be a 40 min wait.. That's fine, not bothered at all.. About 15min later we were ordering our food.. Gotta love it when they beat the proposed wait time! ?
I understand as a waitress to be pleasant with customers but please remember to SERVE. We just left and I’m just irritated. It took forever for us to get our food. As we wrapped up, she ask did I want a to go drink so my fiancé asks for water. She only brings the water back. I ordered a dessert. A strawberry shortcake and we hop back on the road back to where we are from and there is no fork or eating utensils in the bag. Like what am I supposed to do, eat with my fingers?

everything we ordered was overcooked or the order was wrong. service was lacking and for what you pay for coffee I was only able to get one cup. there was a long wait as it was and part of that problem was there were several tables dirty and no one cleaning.
IT IS BAD!!!! ORDERED THRU UBER EATS!!!The order is not right. Biscuits are FLAT AND HARD!!!! I ordered cornbread with my Beans and got 1 cornbread and the Hard biscuits. The 2 scoops of icream MELTED! THE BEANS! Over cooked and DRY!!! Was to come with onion, relish and Cornbread. NO RELISH, ONION AND ONLY 1 CORNBREAD AND FLAT HARD BISCUIT. It SUCKS!!!! NOT EVEN CRACKER BARRELL IS RELIABLE!!!!I was giving the place one more chance after receiving the BURNT Grilled Trout! I will not waste my money there again. So SAD that Cracker Barrell has gotten this bad.
A breakfast here and the food was fantastic ! One thing I disliked was I ordered a side order of grits and they give you such a small order, basically just a couple of tablespoons full. The waitress was a beautiful young girl and very nice but she never came by to refill my coffee. I've eaten a several cracker barrels, at least one each day and driving from Pennsylvania to Texas and back. Must have been fantastic, but it seems to me the quality of the waitress staff is not as good as it once was.
I love this place! I try to eat here every time I come into Jackson, TN! It has the best food, by far, that I have ever had! Their lunch and dinner buffet is hard to beat and the selection is all Country and all Southern!!! Then, the breakfast buffet on the weekend is untouched by ANY CHAIN RESTAURANTS IN THE USA!!!Plus, you can shop and browse by everything from Hard Rock Candy to Sasparrilla, RootBeer Floats, clothing, jewelry and thousands of other items. Give them a try!
This was my first experience in America, and has been a dream since childhood. The cracker barrel certainly fulfilled this for me. The food was absolutely amazing ?, I had my first taste of corn bread, meat loaf, mash,green beans and good old American gravy...... it was to die for. All the staff where fantastic ? and made you feel very welcome. The store has great character and lots of thing to choose from. I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff, and amazing cook, you really did fulfill my dream to America. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST FOR A PLACE TO VISIT. Well done ? guys
