I’m typically not the “guy” that writes reviews, but I wanted a delicious burger and fries like my wife and I would cook on our grill and I must say I was not disappointed! This was honestly my first trip to Cook Out and I went through the drive thru and ordered the double and fries and everything was just as I ordered and it was FAST, HOT, and DELICIOUS!!! I can’t wait to go back with my family!!! Also, SUPER EXCITED about the bag I received my food in! Proverbs 3:5-6 on the bag with “Thank You God for America” written in red! As a Christian, this made me enjoy Cook Out even more! Great job guys!
Only the drive through was open. Food is fresh and prepared to your order. Milk shakes are more like ice cream in a cup but that's ok. For the cost of 2 medium DQ blizzards we got a dbl cheeseburger hushpuppies and 2 milk shakes. Order was quick. Staff was friendly and efficient. It was a great experience.
We always love stopping at a Cook Out when traveling in the South, so made a point of hitting one for lunch. Our group of 15 walked in and I have to give the young man working kudos. The other lady out front was a little shocked by our size (restaurant was empty otherwise) but he was like we got this. He took our orders quickly and with a smile on his face the entire time. Food came out quickly, aside from them forgetting the last few items.
Usually love their good, but the employees go as slow as possible the last hour. Sat in line for 30 minutes, finally got to the box to order 4 minutes before they closed, and they didn't acknowledge us until they officially closed. If they are going to be the only place open late in Jackson, they are losing hundreds of dollars. Don't waste your time trying to get food here.
Food is always good here; staff is mostly friendly. I had a issue tonight my order was wrong; also didn't want to deal with the rude customer service that the girl with the purple Grey ish colored hair gave to me at the window. She was rushing customers thru the drive thru and while waiting in line I heard the car behind me and they couldn't believe she asked if that is it. Then with me she never asked me how I wanted a burger made I brought this to their attention because it didn't dawn on me being rushed to order. I told the lady at the window and she told the girl with the purple hair and the window was cracked she said that she didn't care and to the girl to close the window because she was not dealing with it. First of all you work customer service and are rude as can be. This girl should be fired. It's not about how fast you get cars thru. It's supposed to be great customer service. This is one thing that really got under my skin because I have never been treated this way ever in my life with customer service. The price you pay comes back to paying what you will anywhere else so it's so easy for people to go to other places in town to spend their hard earned money. Like I said food is always good and everyone else I've dealt with has been really nice here except her smart mouth and the thing is I was really nice and even told them to have a good night and thanked them for my food.I was reading reviews and I came across one stating she was charged a water and never got one or ordered one.. so I checked my receipt out which I still have in my vehicle; it said water on my receipt also... I drink water seldom I know that's not good lol but I'd be the last person to be ordering water. I suggest you check your receipts carefully. I added everything up in my head and I was charged about 2.00 more than I should had been. I'm sorry but I think that's crazy I trusted this place and went weekly. Until I see what a joke and shame they truly are. Their receipt don't have a break down for prices either lol. They should be sued over this and I don't care if it's 2.00 or .30 cent or .50 waters they be charging for no reason people work hard for their money. I 10000% will never be back ever!!!!!!!!People becareful and be aware and cook out shame on you!!!!!
Used to be really good for the price, but their prices have gone up while their quality and quantity have gone down. Got a walking taco and they didn't provide a fork or spoon, and ordered cheese bites but there were hardly any and they used to load the to-go boxes up until they burst. Also, every time we go through the drive through they rush you, even if you're the only one in line, barely letting you finish your sentence before asking what else you want or if that's all so you end up repeating yourself because of the constant interruptions.
I had a huge order and Cook Out got it right! Food was hot and delicious and the price was very reasonable! Definitely will visit again!
We just got shakes so I don't really know about their regular food. The chocolate was good, had enough chocolate flavor. The coke float could use more coke and less ice cream in my opinion but I enjoyed it, and we weren't too happy with the blueberry shake. It didn't taste much like blueberries and there were little hard pieces in it.
Food was good. The bowling Green location is the best location so far. The staff was really nice, and my food was good, my Co worker had some issues with his burger and the patty size.
So, I was returning from a quick roadtrip and stopped here for a quick bite since I knew it would be later when I did arrive home. Poor choice.This my first visit to Cook Out and I said this to the clerk who gave NO response or direction on their menu. Lost opportunity!My grandson picked the hot dog w chili combo and was happy with the fries and the hot dog but not the bun or the chili. I picked the quesadilla cheeseburger...what?!? I am still.uncertain as to what I received but its only recognizable feature was the folded over tortilla. There was cheese (I think) inside but nothing resembling beef or chicken or any other meat and the tortilla was a little scorched on one side. I do agree that fries are awesome. I also picked an Oreo milkshake. NOPE! It's not made w real milk or maybe it isn't fresh milk as I tasted ice crystals...alot before I tasted one cookie!Why the 3 stars? The service is really quick. The line was long; wrapped from the drive thru window to the opposite door whenever I first pulled up but I was actually in line less than 5 minutes. Nice!But, neither of us was content with our meals.
