The ONLY reason I am giving them one star is because there was not an option for zero stars . I have had some pretty rough experiences with restaurants before but nothing like tonight. I arrived at 9:02 p.m. There may have been two other families there eating, if that. So, not busy at all. The waitress was nice, took our order, and then the wait began. I waited an hour and 14 minutes on my food, only for it to come out with substitutes (bc they were out of the sides we ordered) and undercooked. I voiced my concern and they took my food back to Finnish cooking it , only to bring it back out undercooked ! By this point it is 10:30 p.m. I was just over it and ready to go. I didn’t eat the food and had no desire to. The manager decides to come out and inform me that she is going to “comp the meal rather I ate it or not”. I most definitely was not going to pay you for food that was not even properly cooked? They proceed to give me a cookie and ice cream “to go”. Needless to say I left that sitting on the table as well. I have never seen such poor management in my entire life and I could not help but to share my experience because I would not ever want anyone else to go there and. Waste there time as I have. This place, staff (except the waitress), and management are all absolutely horrible and none of them deserve a job working with the public.
We were stopping for the night in Jackson TN and were so happy to find that they had a Cheddar's near the hotel. Firstly they brought us complimentary croissants with sweet butter. We both ordered the Monte Crisco sandwich that was hot crunchy and delicious. The ambiance is lovely and the servers friendly.
We arrived Sunday afternoon, so needless to say it was really busy, waited for about 20 minutes on table, not bad.Had burgers and cheese bites, burgers were okay, nothing exciting, cheese bites were good.That croissant was the best I've ever had.Waitress was friendly but over taxed on her two sections, which I understand due to the employment situation.

Good diner food. Kids loved the chicken and the salmon was great. Service is good. Queso good! All around decent place for dinner for the family. Little one says honey mustard was excellent!
Everything was excellent during our visit - the food, the service, the portions - except for the coleslaw. But everything else was great. The prices aren't cheap but the portions make the price worth every penny, except for the coleslaw. I highly recommend visiting. Just don't order the coleslaw.
The quickness of service in all aspects was great!! The drink was AMAZING, the food well both of our steaks were undercooked, tough an absolutely no flavor, the shrimp was even blah with a hint of coconut....the sides were ok. We always make it a point to try a new restaurant in each town we travel to....this is one i will not be "writing home to mom" about.
Great food in a timely manner. Drinks were on point. Aquarium is beautiful a must see for the tank enthusiasts.
I’ve always liked cheddars, I used to go after work all the time to pick up dinner, but my last experience wasn’t very great, o called in an order, and went to go pick it up. When I got there I picked up, glanced in the back just to make sure it was all right, but when I got home to eat I noticed that my chicken was grilled and cold instead of fried and hot, I called and had them make me another, I went back, about a 10 mile drive, to go get my replacement order, checked it closely to make sure it was fried, it was and it looked fine, I got home to eat, took a bite, and the chicken was RAW…(I got the Buffalo chicken wrapper) by that point they were closed and I had to just throw it away and warm up the grilled one and eat that one, but I haven’t been back in a few months, I understand people can make mistakes, like the wrong side or something but serving a customer RAW chicken is a health hazard. It used to be so good but the last time as well as many other customers who would agree with me have noticed it’s sort of went downhill the last 2-3 years
Staff is very friendly with prompt service the entire time we were seated at our table. Food was tasty and the portions were generous. If I lived in Jackson, TN I would definitely return. There were six in my party, we got something different and everyone commented on how they enjoyed it and would eat at Cheddar's again.
