The fries shrimp was well over cooked, very small portion of catfish fillets. Each fillet was about 2 1/2 inches long. The boiled shrimp smelt like it had spoiled. This restaurant used to be a first class place to eat. I was very disappointed
I was in a graduation party of 27. The slaw & hush puppies were plentiful. My ribeye was decent but my eyes looked around in horror at the fish dinners everyone else was getting. Most had ordered the 2 & 3 piece fish plates. Imagine one whole fillet cut vertically into 4 strips and each thin strip represented one serving. This is what they were receiving. Everyone just sat there staring in disbelief at the little shriveled up pieces of fish on their plates. Seriously, they were literally no bigger than your pointer finger! I wish I'd taken pictures. It was so sad! If you order a 3piece, it won't amount to one whole fillet total. The graduate had chosen the restaurant (he loves fish) and he was so utterly embarrassed at the sight of the plates, he picked up the whole tab. I won't be returning, that's for sure, although I've given them 2 stars because my steak was decent.
My Son came for a Visit and Took me out to Lunch for My Birthday. We will return to Catfish Cabin again soon. Food is Hot and Great. Waitress is Very helpful and polite. Thanks Catfish Cabin for the Great Food and Service ❤️.
This place is amazing and I had a chance to try this establishment while I was out of town and the food is very good. It's one of the few places that I have been to that offer real catfish because where I'm from it seems that they sell you that swai fish which I did not want to have. I would recommend this for a family or any fish lover and the prices are very reasonable so I will definitely be back if I'm in the area.
Wait staff was attentive and detailed about the menu. Food was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The fish tacos are my new favorite.
Visiting this Easter weekend and we looked up Catfish Cabin because we wanted some really good seafood and Catfish Cabin did not disappoint!We had a wonderful, sweet server Myra who gave us 5 star service! And the food which was a lot, was very good.. The hush puppies, coleslaw and Catfish, shrimp was all the VIP’s of our meal!Thank you Myra, the awesome chef and manager for making our dinner experience a very good one!We will definitely be back again soon!
Not impressed. The food was hot, my order was taken quickly, it was ready when they stated it would be. However, the fish pieces were very small, the fried green tomatoes and pickles did not have much of a taste to them. When I got to the nursing home to deliver the food I realized there was no butter or sour cream for the potato?.
I've been eating here for decades, and this was the first time I was disappointed. We ordered two red snappers, one blackened and one broiled. Both were terribly overcooked, which made them almost rubbery. We ordered them to go, so there was no way I was going to go back. They were hot, as were the sides, because I was there when the order came out, but the fillets did not make for a good meal. Considering the time and money spent, I won't rush to go back soon.
Our waiter was a gem, very polite and she made sure we had everything we needed and was satisfied. The Hamburger steak was delicious, loved it.
nice and polite waiters and the food is delicious. the food is hot when it comes to ur table! i really enjoyed eating there. will certainly go back again!!
