Every single thing was great. ❤️ Loved the yeast rolls. The salad was fresh. The sweet potato was perfect and the steak was superb. Usually, my husband and I try to eat at local restaurants that are not part of a chain. Texas Roadhouse is going to have to be an exception. We went in at about 5:30 on a Friday night and had a 15 minute wait. By the time we left, there was a crowd waiting for tables. Our waiter was attentive and likable, but I didn't catch his name. ??????????
oh yes I really enjoy at Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Hendersonville TN the chicken salad was delicious ? and the service was great and the lady manger was very nice too.
As a Brit in America, I've recently had some very disappointing experiences eating out which I've put down to post covid staffing issues, but Texas Roadhouse delivered exactly the authentic American eating out experience that I've long been looking for. Start to finish, it was great. The place was packed (always a good sign) but we were seated after only ten minutes and immediately served fresh baked rolls and drinks by our cheerfully professional server. I had ribs and loaded baked potato, plus green beans. Now, the ribs were the best I've ever eaten and the baked potato was certainly loaded, but what really surprised me most was how good the green beans were. That's quality!Our server and a supervisor or manager, both checked on us and the bill was less than I'd paid for far inferior service and food in other establishments. That's how to build a loyal customer base. Great job.I have no hesitation in recommending this venue.
My first visit and the most enjoyable of any restaurant that I've visited in the USA yet. It was busy - and with good reason. Even so, it only took about 10 minutes to get seated. The service was excellent, as were the fresh baked bread rolls and my swiftly delivered Roadhouse Kicker. The half slab of ribs and loaded baked potato I had, were cooked to perfection and even the green beans were the best I'd had anywhere. No hesitation in recommending this venue.
Great food and great service today!! Miles ( “smiles “?) was our server. I was a server for decades and I know a pro. When I see one! Give this one a raise. We’ll be back . My steak salad was very good as well , and the raspberry lemonade and raspberry cheesecake … yummy!! We just moved here from So.Cal and this is the first restaurant experience I have found here to be exceptional ( in Hendersonville) Great job! Kris
The food was excellent. The service was attentive, but it did take a while to receive our food (however, the place was packed). The only true negative was that we were beset by tiny ants crawling on both the menus (that are kept in a holder a fixed to the wall) and on our table. We were seated in a corner and the ants seemed to be localized to just our area. We informed our server who said that he would inform the management.
Wonderful food if you can get past all of the theft!! We enjoy coming here every few weeks for a solid reliably good dinner out. The staff are always kind and service is quick, we love the warm rolls they bring out right away. My one and ONLY complaint isn’t about the restaurant, it’s regarding the number of asshats who come in droves to steal food under the guise of low quality after they’ve consumed 90% of their dinner. I’m not complaining that I’ve occasionally seen an entire group eat their food, demand replacements and then pack them up to go, I mean. Every. Single. Time. Multiple people around us pull this stunt, demanding free meals or extra food to go. I know this isn’t my problem, but I’m appalled that this abuse of customer service protocols has become the norm within the service industry. Seeing the staff being treated badly over manufactured complaints is disappointing and I get angry that they’re put in a place where they have to continuously accept this form of harassment to maintain the “happy customer”. Customers are not always right, yes sometimes food really is wrong and not it’s very best, but the amount that this is happening it might as well be a well coordinated orchestra. I feel sorry for everyone that works here, we tip well to try to compensate, but honestly people of Hendersonville need to do better. This is embarrassing and you don’t deserve this great restaurant or the kind staff you trample all over. My only request is that you find a way to start telling these ridiculous thieves “NO”. They need to hear it.
Update: after this review they tried to make it right. 4 star, everything was great. Server was busy, but everything else was good. Thanks.After a few visits, my wife and I finally were able to get a table. The problem was, with each visit, it's been a 2-hour wait. So last visit we went to the website. Again, a 2 hour wait. So we got on the wait list. We showed up an hour later, sent a text message that we have arrived. An hour later we were seated. Got dinner sides before appetizer. I got ribs, so when I did get my dinner, sides were already eaten (or could have waited and eat it cold). So when I did get my plate, all I got was ribs. Including tip the 2 of us spent over 100.00 dollars. Not our first time eating here, but wasn't the best visit either. I get being busy, but could have been better.
Wonderful food and great service. Waitress was the best I've seen in a very long time. We literally didnt have to request for anything. She was amazing. Came here after we left our table at Longhorn before ordering.
The lady who answered the phone ? was extremely pleasant and helpful. Also the girl that brought the food out to my car! The food was also delicious ?!
