Literally the best fast food ever. Better than canes, better than chick fil a, you must try thr spicy fried mushrooms and ranch, always get the chicken strip meal, substituting French fries with fried pickles. The toast that comes with the meal is so delicious. The Mason jar desserts are incredible. The strawberries were very fresh in the cheesecake jar and the brownie dessert jar was delicious, reminded me of my mom's layered Kahlúa cake she makes for special occasions. The portions of everything are perfect and the food is hot and fresh. Have never been served stuff that you can tell was sitting under a warmer for a while because it's limp, this tasty lunch still has hot oil at the bottom of the box. We ate twice in 2 days when we first found it! Always a line, but moves and you'd miss out if you don't join it. They also offer a rewards app, so I'd suggest joining it since you'll get hooked and be back.
Went through the drive and ordered two salads. That was a mistake. More than half of the lettuce on both salads were rotten and wilted. I drizzled my ranch on before even tossing the salad and realized after how incredibly gross it was. I tried calling the store and no one answered!!! Extremely disappointed and a waste of $21.00. Never eating here again and I advise you don’t either. If the employees can’t do their job to ensure the food is even edible then what are you even doing Slim Chickens???
Went during lunch rush and you'd never know it. A little pricey. Manager is very hands on, which is cool. I don't eat Zazbys or Chikfila but I can say the tenders are comparable to Cheddars tenders. Fries are lightly seasoned and yummy. If you think you can eat 5 pc, go with 3 pc lol. The jar dessert is ridiculously high priced and only half full if you account for all the air space. That's similar in size and price to The Peach Cobbler Factory. I'll never order another. But will return for a quick bite. Didn't get a pic of plate, it looked like everyone else's review. Friendly interactive Staff. Well ran as far as I could tell.
Their chicken and waffles are er'thang ? The Belgium waffle is fluffy! The chicken strips are tender and juicy! When you add butter and top it with syrup! Mmmmmm....yummy ? check out my before the fixings and after photos..??? then I devoured it off camera ?
Actually a really nice place. Drinks are self serve and they have a nice long bar for drink service. There was also a small bar area of seating. After we ordered our food and went to be seated I noticed a sticky substance on the table...no worries I keep clorox wipes in my purse as I'm sure most do nowadays but as I wipe the table I notice a young blonde girl who was a worker actually sat down and was recording me as I wiped the table before my family sat down ?. This almost turned me off.This was my 1st time in and Tamera who was actually working the diningroom awsome and turned my feeling around for the place. We were talking and we mentioned it was our 1st time in and she was very attentive. They had table service which was great. I did see a gentleman who worked there out wiping tables so I'm sure they try to clean periodically but I dont see how me cleaning the table my family was going to sit at was a problem this is a fast food restaurant.
Everyone was polite, the sweet tea was good. Fries were pretty good. My wife had the ranch chips and they were ok, just a little salty. The wings,they're just plain deep fried or boiled or something and got sauce over them. Nothing to write home about in my opinion. I had hot sauce tossed and they're literally plain with some Louisiana hot sauce or something. No real flavor. The cayenne ranch dipping sauce was the highlight of the experience. Definitely try them and form your own opinion. It just wasn't my taste through no fault of their own. If I was with someone that was like hey! let's go there! I'd go without complaint. But I didn't personally care for it enough to choose it myself again.
This Slims Chicken is the WORST. Food is never right and usually cold. Tried to give it another chance today, and I ordered a Slims Wrap Meal, with ranch and garlic Parmesan sauces. What do I get? A basket of strips, fries and I’m assuming honey mustard. Unless this location starts serving hot, fresh and correct orders, they have no business being open.
I’m a little upset right now. Hangry if you wanna call it that. I have a gluten allergy. I called the restaurant and they assured me that whatever I asked for could be grilled instead of breaded. I made sure to order grilled chicken, no fried onions in a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. Get home, wrapped in lettuce is a breaded chicken patty with fried freaking onions! It’s 2022. Celiac and other food issues are very real. Gluten free should be an option offered in some capacity everywhere. First time here. Last time here.
Line in the drive through was absurd. When I ordered my food 1 order wasn't put in that I waited 25 mins to get. I didn't make a huge deal about it but could have.. The manager reluctantly gave me a free ice cream for the wait but was not apologetic and demanded I park in a certain place so others could get around me. It was a "pick your battles kinda day" so I said nothing but his attitude convinced me to not go back.
Food was ok. Service was fast but how can you build a public place with only one ladies and men's bathroom. I had to wait behind 3 people just to wash my hands to eat. Another time I was here a little girl had to go really bad and kept missing out. Finally her dad stood guard outside the men's room while she used it. Evidently there is not even an employee restroom since they were constantly coming out to use the only public restroom. I thought building codes required more restrooms than this. When I visit again and the restroom is in use I'll probably just go elsewhere.
