My family and I love hanging out here after a day on the lake. The food is delicious, drinks are yummy, and the staff is friendly. The only issue is the parking, which is difficult and sometimes impossible at busy times. They definitely need a larger parking lot, because the food, drinks, service, and lake views are too good to pass up.
I was very satisfied after having the fried catfish with asparagus. I love that the entrées come with hush puppies. I can't remember the drink or appetizer that we got now but I was pleased with both! The position by the water is unmatched with a really calming beautiful view and the main patio is completely shaded which makes it nice regardless of the weather. Loved this place!
We enjoyed the food, service and view of the water at Moby Dicky's. We were a party of 6 and had a 45 minute wait at 5:00 on a Sunday. Everyone enjoyed their meals - I had the parmesan crusted flounder over rice with hush puppies. The coating was a little heavy but very good. Lots to eat. Our only concern might have been the cleanliness of the glasses and silverware. With that in mind we would definitely go back again.
My traveling companion and I went to Moby Dicky's on Sunday, April 24. I thought by getting there at 5 p.m., we'd beat the dinner crowd. I was wrong! It was packed! We decided to wait, even though they'd said it would be an hour & a half. They have chairs and benches facing the lake, so it was a pleasant wait. Our table in the covered patio area was ready in only an hour. Service was prompt and the food came quickly. I *highly* recommend the Lobster Bisque - the best I've ever had! The portions are good; you won't leave there hungry. If I'm ever back in the area just east of Nashville, I'll definitely eat there again.
I had a good time at this place, good background music, multiple TVs, awesome service and great patrons, blackened red fish was tasty.

Awesome food and great atmosphere! My husband and I went to Moby Dickys today for lunch. I had the grilled grouper , bake potato and salad. It was all great. My husband had a bowl of clam chowder, Mahi Mahi with rice, asparagus and bake potato. He was well pleased with his meal as well. Our waiter , Ryan was very efficient and super nice.
Things change. I grew up in Hendersonville in the 60’s and 70’s. The lake was always a part of life. Moby Dickys was a great find. Grouper recommended.
