I highly recommend the shrimp and smoked Gouda grits. Excellent Cajun seasoning on the shrimp and the smoked Gouda takes grits to a new dimension. The portions are plentiful and I have enough leftover for another meal! The cheesecake with fresh juicy cherries was amazing!!
Great environment and food
Awesome little gem. Found this on a google restaurant search for lunch. Cool eclectic place and staff was nice. Wife had fish and chips. I had the Reuben and we shared a side salad. It was awesome! I recommend this place, even if it’s out of the way, it’s worth the drive. We will be back!?
Food...Amazing. great options cooked to perfection. Shrimp and grits leave you full and planning your next trip. DeAndre the waiter, top shelf. Kept drinks full, no asking. Was there when you needed him, on point. This guy should open his own business on how to train wait staff.

We had such a lovely time at this cafe today. The interior is so cozy and has a beautiful view of the river/lake out the big windows! The food was delicious and fresh, and had so much flavor. The servers were very friendly and we will definitely be coming back again!
Food is always amazing. A drive for us but worth it. Tonight I had shrimp and grits and my friend had the burger. Both amazing and wayyy more than we could eat. We also had the hummus appetizer which was fantastic.
This was our second visit here, we came for lunch previously and it was excellent so we came back tonight for dinner. I had the meatloaf and can say it was the best meatloaf I’ve ever eaten. My wife had shrimp and grits and she said they were absolutely wonderful. Great service! Highly recommend eating here, definitely one of the best restaurants in the area.
We sat along the window with a somewhat view of the kitchen at a booth where the table was clean. It took a while for our waitress to come to the table. She was not very inviting or friendly. Reuben and Philly steak sandwiches were very good. We may return there to decide if we will be back on a regular basis. The jury is still out on this place.
This restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside but looks can be deceiving…we have eaten here on several occasions and the food is always fresh and delicious! The service is always very good too. On this visit, we ordered the red snapper and a burger and as usual, the food was delicious and the servings were plentiful! The presentation of the food is also very appealing. This is definitely one of our favorite restaurants!
