We took our Son & his family there to celebrate our grandson's first birthday. We rarely have eaten there but we did at our sons request. Our server and the staff were excellent and attentive especially we our large group of seven of which 3 were 1 to 5 year Olds. Our orders were taken quickly & accurately with only one minor exception. The food came quickly and everyone commented that how delicious their food was. As you can imagine the mess a 1 year old and a birthday cup cake can make but our server and the staff were great and very accommodating of the mess our grandson made celebrating his big 1!
I've been coming to this place for years, and have loved it up till now. The food is good, the service is usually adequate. My experience today however, will be what stops me from ever spending another dollar at this specific restaurant.My son looooves spaghetti. He's not a big fan of soups or salads usually, so we typically sub it out for another side, like French fries.This time, the waitress insists that they can't. I'll have to either accept or refuse the salad/soup and pay extra for the fries. I asked her to please check and make sure, because we've done this before, and she sends the hostess to tell me the same thing.My son got his spaghetti and fries, and I ended up paying for a salad I never got. I decided not to order anything myself, and I will never order from here again. You're a middle class restaurant, substituting a side shouldn't become an argument with the customer. It's insulting, and unprofessional.

1st time eating at this place and I must say the food was Very Good. Some of the selections are a little pricey but it wasn't a mistake choosing to eat there. The portions were good size and the waitress was always around and always made sure we had drinks. We selected a variety of items to include 3 appetizers, a steak, fettuccine alfredo, shrimp scampi, stuffed mushrooms, etc. It's easy to spend over $100 for 3 people to eat so I wouldn't say it's a place we would go to weekly to sit and eat, but it's a nice place to eat at once in a while. We are in town for a soccer tournament so ending a long day with a great meal in a nice place was totally worth it.
I was very pleased with my wait time, quick turn around between ordering & my meal coming out, as well as the quality of my food. I arrived at 5p on a Saturday, & it was already packed. Since I was alone, the hostess recommended the bar, & several couples behind me did the same. I was concerned that 9 of us taking a seat at 1 time would overwhelm the bartender, but she was amazing. She did an incredible job of realizing who was with who & in what order we had sat down. We all received our drinks, & had our orders placed within 15mins. My food arrived within the next 15mins, still piping hot & delicious! I'll definitely return.
Good food but horrible timing by Gus. 3 bites into the salads, entrees drop. Halfway through that, dessert drops with the check. If you are in such a hurry to rush us like that, maybe call out next time?Pic shows the salads, entrees and dessert still all together
Birthday Experience, I called ahead seating and was made for 6:15 . Was told that it would be over an hour and 20 min . Got seated at 7:20 ! Our server was awful ,No personality at all. We ordered appetizers and came back ice cold . Salad had very little lettuce . After 30 min we received our food . All 5 of our meals were ice cold . So no one ate their dinner . We sat there looking at our plates. So asked to speak to the manager who was very rude after I very nicely explained the situation to her . She said "I'll see what ai can do .Turned and walked off never saw her again.They the server came back and asked if there was anything else we needed . Never told us or asked us if she could fix something else. My son asked her to put his plate in the microwave and so she did . We were starving. I had to ask the server what the manager was going to do for us and she told us it was all compt. So we just got up and left. I had my family there for my 51st birthday and never went in for a free meal . But this Hendersonville location she treat people better invented if they are under staffed .The had people lined up out the door at all times . If they can't serve hot food they should seat people. The Host was super busy but did the best that he could. He actually brought us our food and he was the only one who was nice to us. And actually apologized and ask if there was anything he could do for us. My mother told the server it was my birthday and she never said or did anything. I will Never go back to your restaurant and I will be sure to share my experiences with my friends . My son is a server and makes up to 400 in tips a night he said I shouldn't have left a tip for the awful serves. But we did atleast leave a little tip.. Try to do better ... you charge a high price for your food . It should come out hot and with quality.
The food was awesome as usual and the service was great too. We did not have too long of a wait even though it was Friday night and they was short on servers. I highly recommend the Chicken trio with sautéed spinach. My wife had the Johnny's trio and it was very good too.
Really good soup and salad. IMHO, they blow away another popular Italian restaurant in this category, that’s known for their soup/salad. Service is hit and miss sometimes, but of late - excellent service. I’m also glad that they now have brought back their full menu! Their bread and olive oil with herbs is also very good. Lots of options and items that will most likely satisfy even the casual eater.
Went out with friends for a nice dinner. Food was very tasty, a bit too salty for my palette but yummy. The veal picata was excellent, actual veal pieces, not formed patties. Husband had the chicken parmesan and really liked it. Service was good considering the amount of tables she had to serve- much more since they lacked servers for the amount of people eating. They didn't rush us either, which was lovely to relax and enjoy our company. They were extremely busy with takeout orders as well. Food was very warm and nicely presented. Will definitely go back!
