Quick service. Good food. Not really spicy, as you would expect from a California Taco Store.
Family operated. Small building that used to be fat Moe's in the parking lot with the old family fun center. No intercom so after looking at the menu pull forward to the window to order then drive around to the other side and wait on a semi steep ramp till you can make your way to the other window and get your food. The food is good and the staff is friendly but the process takes a little longer than one would like and the ramp situation is hard on the transmission. I would suggest the Cali steak fries to anyone with a healthy appetite and a budget.
I made a simple order of 3 tacos and told the young girl cheese on top only. They ended up putting cilantro and onions. Went around and told the girl and she said okay just keep those and we’ll give you new ones. We got the new order and they switched it up giving me beef and cheese. I have to go back a 3rd time to get 3 tacos correct. Mind you we were the only costumer in the past 30 mins. I’m not sure how they switched up meats and got confused. Then she got an attitude and asked for all the other foods back and slammed the door on us.
Best street tacos ever. Excellent seasoning on the meat with fresh onion ,cilantro and limes. Very pleasant service as well. The a la carte burrito is a very good value.
Excellent food! Love that it’s a drive thru! Everything has been delicious! Current favorite is the chorizo taco! Love their California burrito too with chipotle sauce! Can’t beat the prices either!!
Having lived my entire life in San Diego, California, able to enjoy authentic Mexican dishes 24hrs a day, 7dys a week. Carne Asada,Machaca, Adovada burritos, tacos, Flauta's etc. NO OTHER local "Mexican" eatery comes close to being authentic in taste. EXCEPT California Tacos! Great job!my stomach Thanks You! Keep it up! Time for breakfast burritos to be added to your mix.
This is legitimate California taco shop food. This restaurant and one other are the only ones that I will go to for Hispanic food. There are other restaurants that you meet up with family and enjoy mediocre food, but if you really cared about them, you should take them to Cali taco. There food is really good and the portions for the price worth it. Being from California, the only the things that I miss are the beach and taco shop food, this place is like a slice of that here in Hendersonville. If you want a burrito, I'm not talking about a small burrito, but burrito burrito, like huge, get the Cali burrito. This burrito has tons of meat, cheese sauce, French fries, guac, and sour cream. This burrito is my favorite, I get it everytime I go to Cali taco. One of the other items I like to get are the Cali fries which are amazing as well and you can wash it all down with an authentic horchata or a Pina drink. You will not be disappointed if you go here. My family likes to get other things off the menu that are good as well. I have convinced a lot of my work buddies to go here and they ended loving it. I mean you cannot go wrong with Cali taco.

This is a hidden gem of Hendersonville. One of the best little taco shops ever! Amazing service and the food was super inexpensive. Thank you for an amazing experience.
