Had a little situation yesterday with a waitress, but was quickly handled professionally with manager. My wife and I always come here and love this place Trashella the manager is so awesome!!!! I recommend anyone to go here!!!! Oh yes my waiter Manny was very awesome as well. He remembered our favorite drinks and always come to the table with a smile. That's the kind of service I love.
I visited this location four times during a recent trip. First was for dinner. Immanuel was our server and he was fantastic! The turkey dinner, not so much. It was edible, but the turkey was very dry, gravy was salty and I don't know what they did to the grilled asparagus but it tasted odd. Next was for breakfast. Slower service but the Strawberry French Toast Croissant was out of this world. Next was dinner and the worst experience we had. It took four tries for my mom to get her meal correct. She ordered the steak (medium well) dinner. The server brought her pot roast. Then he brought her a steak that was pretty much raw. The third return of the steak was better but still very bloody even though the server insisted he told the cook it was to be done medium well. I personally don't believe he told the cook this because if you got the original order wrong, how are you going to remember how the person wanted the steak? After speaking to the manager, she finally got a dinner that was edible. (Side note: they took off her meal from the bill.) Last was breakfast. I was a bit disappointed because the Everything Skillet was supposed to be with smashed tots and it had home fried potatoes. Regardless, food was good but the service was the worst. I don't know if our waitress was having a bad day or overworked, but she got part of our order wrong which we were charged for and it wasn't corrected. It took her 30 minutes to bring us our food. After stating she would bring us our check, we sat for 15 minutes without her ever returning. Other tables that had her had issues as well.
Had breakfast here this morning. Service was phenomenal! The food was amazing! Highly recommend eating here. We didn't have to wait very long either and the place was packed. Overall a 10/10 experience!
I’ve loved Perkins for years! The one on Germantown is awesome! Food looked like it came out of a magazine! I would’ve posted a pic - but I hate being one of those…. People that post pics of food on twitter and what not, so I have a pretty strict internal monologue that kept me from sharing the beautiful chicken biscuits with fresh, crisp bacon and beautiful golden brown potatoes!I’m getting hungry now thinking about it!
Perkins is my free birthday meal yearly spot. I always go to redeem my free birthday Magnificent Seven Breakfast. Service and food is always good.
We usually eat here 4 or 5 times a month for breakfast and have never had a bad meal. Our last two Waitresses were ABSOLUTELY fantastic. I am really mad at myself for not remembering their names next time I eat here i am going to write their names down and make sure your company realizes what excellent employees they are!!!
Friends chose breakfast at Perkins and I was reluctant but went along. My NY experience with Perkins hasn't been stellar. This restaurant, though supremely busy and boisterous, was really clean and had a rhythm that kept things moving right along. We had a bit of a wait, but it was pretty short considering we were a party of six on a Sunday morning. We were seated with menus in hand and coffee in mugs before we knew it. We ordered everything from muffins to eggs to pancakes and everything arrived piping hot and was exactly as described. Our server was a sweetheart. She was very busy but when she was at our table, we were her only priority. That's customer service! Good food at a good price. Sure, we'll try it again.
I ordered the 3 layer BLT for lunch & it was delicious, just the way I like it. Food was fresh & hot with good quality taste.
Had dinner here this week and the service was good and the food tasted great. It would be nice to see the manager out checking on customers like they used too.
This is worth the drive, time, and wait if you have to. Sometimes I don’t feel like cooking and I’ll drive 9 miles to Perkins in Germantown. Excellent staff, management, and a true example of restaurant pleasure. I’ll give it ten stars if I could….. Awesome
