I work across the street from this particular McDonald's. I visit often for lunch. I usually don't have any issues. Food is normally good, and the location is normally very quick considering all the business they get there.I visited a few days ago and it was awful, I placed a mobile order as I normally do, I park curbside when I pick up. I waited for around 25m before I eventually relented and went inside to find the staff puzzled about my order, it has been sitting for probably around 15m. I finally got my order.All that aside, I notice this place runs like a well oiled machine when there is a particular person working, I am not sure of her position at this location, but the place runs like clockwork with her there, she's a very sweet lady, always prompt and courteous. Always has a kind word. Her name is Theresa. On my visit today she was the one who ran my food out to me. I let her know how much she was missed the other day in the chaos of her absence.I'm rating this location 5 stars due to the fact that generally I have a good experience there. A huge shout out to Theresa. Thank you for being an amazing employee and person.
Terrible management. The managers name is teresa. I went to mcdonald’s to take my 13 ur old sister to eat on the night of june 12. Not only was the manager yelling at me but so we’re the other 2 female co workers working that night, also laughing at me for asking for their names. I sat in this line for over 30 minutes, i have proof of everything on my dash cam. One co worker was smoking a cigarette while the drive thru line was stacking up. As soon as we left, the line started moving so I went back into the line. Only to be refused service to. I would fire each and every on of these people. So disrespectful
Got my order wrong, employee had a negative attitude and didn’t say anything to me, apart from giving me the stink eye and muttering to herself Fries were cold and shriveled Burger was dry
Stopped by around 5:30 Saturday evening and whoever was working drive thru had a really bad attitude. I come through a lot and I don’t recall ever seeing this individual
The sprite taste like pure carbonated water and the buns on my Big Mac were so hard that I had to use bread once returning home. To make the injury worse, they could not be reached by phone to complain. Smh
I asked for my food to be cooked well done. They pull you up for 15 to 20 minutes and still bring you out food that has been prep and staged.
Make sure you don’t have unprofessional, rude, ghetto employees who can’t enunciate their words taking the orders at the window. ?It’s not the time nor the place to speak to people any kind of way.

The girl at the drive thru tonight 2/24/22 was EXTREMELY RUDE. From the start she didn’t greet nicely, she rudely interrupted and then I got to order (about 5 min wait). I wanted to order 2 milkshakes and she told me that the machine was being cleaned. I asked why they would clean at dinner time?? 7:00pm. She said, do you want to get sick from bacteria? The point of this rant is … this is not the 1st time I’ve had ? service at the G’town location. I understand she’s not making a ton of money but BE NICE. If you want to be rude… GO HOME. Bye Felicia!!! P.S. I know they don’t need my business, I just needed to vent about my horrible experience. Shouldn’t ice cream machines be cleaned every night at closing?
I drove 26 miles to get a shamrock shake here (that’s $3.50 in gas, for anyone keeping track) because a friend of mine posted that they got one here yesterday. When I got here, it looked promising, because there it was, right there in the order board (false advertising — which used to be illegal at one time). The person behind the counter said, “We’re not doing shamrock shakes right now.” If you want a shake — any shake — avoid McDonald’s. They are the most unreliable in the business, when it comes to milkshakes. In fact, I would actually change that to say, you can reliably count on them not to have shakes. Their shake machine is ALWAYS broken, or being cleaned. That’s the excuse they use. If you want a shake, go to Cook-Out. They will never let you down.
