We go every month or so. We live in atoka, if we lived closer, it would be weekly. The food is amazing…the owner is nice as can be. We’ve been to almost every Indian restaurant in the Memphis area…Mantra is the only one we’ve been to more than once.
Ordered lamb curry, and it is beef!!!!!! I am 100% sure it’s freaking beef! Are you kidding me????????? 25 $ order came with only 6-8 small pieces of BEEF (I ordered lamb!!!!!!) !!!! Not only overpriced, but also fake stuff!!!! And also it took more than 30 min to get the order ready!!!!!!! This is ridiculous!!!!!!
Had the Tandoori Grill mix and Lamb Curry. Decent dining experience for authentic Indian food in Memphis. Their Mango Lassi was good too.

Amazing food! I loved this place, the fish and shrimp curry are absolutely fantastic. The garlic naan was also delicious, everything tasted fresh and it was a really great meal! Especially when they brought out the gulab ramuun! Love this place and recommend coming back to it!
Very delicious food. It was all hot and tasted very authentic. The naan took a long time to arrive at the table but was absolutely worth the wait. Some of the best naan I've had. Only wish they did not add a charge for paying by card. It was not much, but no one likes to see that on the check. We will be back.
We have ordered naan and garlic naan the taste was good though and two chicken curries and one vegetarian. The water bottle costs $3 ? and the overall bill was $92 before the tax but after the tax the bill was $117. We were shocked to see the tax which was almost $25. They have added the gratuity (18%) to the bill. We still don't understand why this gratuity has been applied on the bill. The service is worst.
Terrible. Do not go here!!! I went here with my family and they charged us a “gratitude fee” which added a 18% fee!!! This is terrible. Then they charged a 3.5% fee for using a credit card. We ordered only 3 dishes and 3 cups of chai, and the total was around $85!!! And on top of that there was a piece of hair in our biryani. If anyone is reading this DO NOT go to this restaurant. We got ripped off.

Thre food is INCREDIBLE, especially the fried cauliflower. wow!!!!
