This is a really fun little BBQ place! It was recommended by a friend so we tried it. As soon as you get out of the car your mouth starts watering from the smell! ? Erica was our waitress and she was very attentive and went above and beyond along with good conversation! Thank you! The sides were DELICIOUS! The sweet potato fries have brown sugar in the batter (I think) so they were SO good. The ribs were a bit dry but based on everything else and the atmosphere I give 5 stars. Wonderful service! Side note: Restrooms were fairly clean.
It's our 2nd time to try Tennessee BBQ and so far this was very good. The pull pork was killer, moist not over cooked had the perfect season on it. Brisket was actually delicious not better then mine lol. Ribs was a lil dry but season beautifully. Potatoe salad was great ,mac and cheese off the chain and the beans were good the lil rolls were very good. Tea was awesome. Our waiter John was a excellent sever very informant on all the menu and everything with the store product. The staff was very friendly as soon as we walked into the door. When we visit again we will stop in again for some of that fabulous food.
Weekend trip with my daughter. The restaurant had great atmosphere and wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable. We preferred a pulled pork sandwich and 1/2 slab of ribs. Bothe were excellent. Sides were goo too.
The first thing you need to decide when you get here is whether to save room for desert. The coconut cream pie is just wonderful and even though banana puddin is the thing to have with BBQ…it’s good enough to make you rethink. As this is one of the most popular places to eat in the area, consider off hour dining or bring your patience with you. Parking is tight and there is frequently a line out front. Been here many times over the decades and it’s just as good now as it was 25 years ago. Great service by Kristin.
Great spot for BBQ. Small restaurant but the service was great the food was very tasty. Small single bathrooms. Ample street parking available.
We were looking for a place that would offer ribs and came across this one. Not sure if the place is always this busy, but we had to wait for quite a bit to get the table. The dinner came out pretty quickly though. Portions were definitely satisfying as we ended up taking some to our hotel as well. The only negative (as my wife is trying to be more sustainable) was that they were serving everything in plastic trays/containers.
Fortunately I only live about 5 minutes from the Germantown location and I make it a point of getting their GREAT BBQ - and, the sides are the best anywhere around here. Quality is consistent. Have never had a bad batch. I love the slaw and often buy it by itself Fortunate to have such a great product so close
Very good BBQ, split the combo and it was plenty of food. Small and busy, but worth the effort. Parking nearby wasn’t difficult to find on the weekend.
Really good BBQ in Memphis. Imagine that. Lol. The mild sauce is really good kind of sweet which is what I like. So I put it in my ribs and brisket. I forgot to take a picture of all the desserts We got. But the banana pudding was great. The chocolate pie my wife ate was good. A little chewy but good none the less and the brownies the kids ate were bigger than we expected. the kids gobbled them right up. I ate all of my coconut cream pie. It was pretty sweet. But too good to stop. We’ll definitely be back.
Got the Turkey nachos, and a burger for my wife. Omg, it was so good. Thre wait for the burger was looking, but Katie took care of us during the wait, and kept us posted. Adding to my favorites is a place to come back to, and I'll be requesting Katie as our liasson for an awesome experience.
